Story
Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at about 10-years-old.  Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long, and curly. At 50 lbs, I am a fit and healthy girl  I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do! When the "hoomans" come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them! I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation (i.e., like an apartment of townhome) since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside and like going on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very "bestest "manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn't DO it! I am shy around new people but warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I ignore them and hope they go away!  Hope to meet you soon! Story
Meet Brut, Your Future Best Friend!    Brut is a 1-year-old Husky Lab Pit mix who is not only charming but absolutely gorgeous with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Weighing in at approximately 43 pounds, this sweet boy is fully potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. He thrives in the company of other dogs and would flourish in a home with a canine companion. Despite being a bit shy at first, once he warms up to you, he’s ready to share his playful energy and affectionate nature. Brut enjoys outdoor adventures, but he also knows how to kick back and relax after some fun. And with his beautiful soft green eyes and infectious personality, this pup is hard to resist! While Brut is upbeat and active, he does have some special medical needs due to a heart valve defect that required surgery. He will need yearly echocardiograms and medication for life, so his ideal family should be prepared for ongoing veterinary care. Additionally, Brut would do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment, as he has a loud bark when he gets excited. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who brings joy and laughter into your life—and you can provide the love and support he needs to continue a healthy and full life—Brut is ready to find his forever home with you! He will make every minute with you count and give you lots of joy in return!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Millicent Bella   I’m a fun-loving, adventurous, 3-year-old, husky mix with the softest fur and a heart full of love. I weigh around 50 pounds and am always ready to make your day brighter with my playful spirit and cuddly nature. When I’m outside, I love to run, dig, and explore (classic husky pastimes). I’m also a big fan of sunsets; there’s nothing better than watching the sky change colors while I take in the fresh air. And if you’re lucky, I might even sing you a little husky song!  Inside the house, I’m calm, well-mannered, and non-destructive. I have great house manners and love hanging out with my people. I’m crate-trained (though I’m not exactly thrilled about it) and fully housebroken. And when I don’t have the zoomies, I enjoy movie nights. So far, my favorite flick is Snow Dogs. I know a few basic commands like sit and down. I’m working on leash walking (hey, I’m a husky, so it’s a work in progress)! I also love to play fetch, although I’ll admit I don’t always bring the toy back (it’s more fun that way, right?). I’m great with human kids, enjoy meeting other dogs, and would love regular playdates if you don't have canine kids. I'm a great car rider and would make a wonderful travel companion. I’ve previously lived with cats, but I’m a bit shy around my current feline foster sibling. He's a bully if I'm being honest.  I do have a bit of a sensitive tummy, so I need special care with my food. I’m up to date on vaccinations and preventatives but still need to be spayed (that’s getting scheduled soon!). If you’re looking for a joyful, adventurous, and affectionate companion who loves car rides, sunsets, talking, and cuddling, I might be your perfect match. Story
Little Guy is a sweet, spoiled boy that likes nothing better than spending time with his people. He would be a wonderful pup to go hiking with on leash. He and his brother, Dozer, are avid critter chasers and will dig after those critters if not watched. The Husky in him means he needs to stay on a leash but the lab does calm him down some. He still has a lot of puppy in him but has outgrown the worst puppy traits. He also doesn’t mind his crate for short periods and sees it as a safe spot to take a nap. He loves children but may be a bit much for some very small children. He loves to give kisses and attention and small children are the right size to be face to face for those kisses. He also thinks he is a lap dog at times and loves snuggling on the couch. Little Guy can be a little shy around other new dogs and may take a little warming up, he has been around many different foster dogs though. He is on the smaller size, thus his name. If you are looking for a very loyal, loving smaller sized pup then Little Guy may be the perfect addition to your family. The boys have had all of their vaccines, been microchipped and neutered and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested, please fill out an application at www.mushrescue.com or email adopt@mushrescue.com with any questions.

Story
Noel is our special needs girl but we know she has the perfect home out there. She has been diagnosed with a neurological condition that causes her to walk a little differently on occasion and affects her temperament periodically. Noel is expected to live a long happy life, her diagnosis does not impact her life expectancy. She can be somewhat unpredictable and was unsocialized as a puppy so needs to be an only dog in the house. Noel loves her food and her sleep and doesn’t like to be bothered during those times. She is housebroken and crate trained, she LOVES her crate. Noel’s new family would be required to have a fenced yard as she loves to run. They would also be required to provide her with endless toys! She loves loves loves her toys and doesn’t shred them, rather treats them like her babies. Noel will need to have annual neurological exams. She’s a sweet girl and deserves a home of her own. She is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. For more information, please email adopt@mushrescue.com or complete an application https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Everyone, meet "Lady". Her foster mom describes her as a doll! Lady needs someone or a family who enjoys cuddling - she is very affectionate and loves being close to you. She also requires an owner with an active lifestyle! Lady has a great amount of energy! She is good with kids but may accidentally knock over a smaller child. Interestingly, she adores smelling flowers! Her love for people in general is truly precious! Lady is currently being potty trained, taught manners, and receiving her puppy vaccines. Is Lady the puppy for you? Please note that we receive a high volume of applications and appreciate your patience as we process them. We do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis. To complete the adoption process, you will need to fill out an application, attend a pet meet-and-greet, undergo a home visit, and have a strong veterinary/animal care history. The adoptive family will also need to ensure that Lady receives her puppy shots and provide proof of spaying/neutering if it has not been done before adoption. Raising a puppy requires a significant amount of time and commitment. Please ensure that your schedule can accommodate a puppy, as it will be a cherished member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. Story
Haven is a very sweet, beautiful, laid-back girl. She was picked up by Animal Control as a stray, and we can only imagine how scary that was for her, as she is blind. She has done great in her foster home and is learning various voice commands to help with her blindness. She was heartworm positive, but we have now treated her, and she is doing great. She is an extremely laid-back girl who wants nothing but to snuggle and go on walks. She is fine on car rides and can walk pretty well on a leash, especially since she is blind. She does have a little bit of sight in one of her eyes but does not have any depth perception. However, we have been working on the command "down" whenever she goes downstairs and "up" whenever she goes upstairs. She is in a foster home with other dogs and doesn't react very much to them, but introductions to other dogs will have to be taken very slowly, as she gets scared. Her blindness does not stop her at all. She is just a sweet old soul. We think she is around two years old, up-to-date on shots, and spayed. She is housebroken and has not once had an accident in her crate. She loves her crate, her safe spot, and loves to sleep on her back. Story
-About 2 years old -Neutered Male -He was a stray in a shelter with limited time left when MUSH rescued him. -Sokka is currently in a foster home in Upstate South Carolina. Sokka (Sock-uh) is a very energetic, silly, sweet, and social dog. He loves people and kids and LOVES other dogs. He needs a large dog friend who will run and play with him almost 24/7, and that is okay with being jumped on. Sokka loves to get his toys and bring them to his foster brother to invite him to play! Sokka is working on his manners, specifically not jumping up on people and addressing mild food aggression. He is crate and house-trained. He is getting used to cats but tends to hyper-fixate on them and wants to play with them. Sokka also struggles with smaller dogs, especially when they bark at him. He is a typical husky who likes to "talk and sing," is sometimes defiant, is endlessly energetic, and is a bit of an escape artist. Sokka experienced Hurricane Helene, and he loved it. He would have stayed out in that weather if his foster mom had let him. For more information, please email adopt@mushrescue.com Application: https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Meet Cyan, an energetic and playful one-year-old Siberian Husky looking for his forever home! Cyan is full of life and loves to stay active, whether it’s running around the yard, going on long walks, or diving into the toy box with his friends! His curiosity knows no bounds, and he’s always up for an adventure. With a fluffy tail that's always wagging and dazzling heterochromia, he’s sure to catch the attention of everyone he meets. Cyan is incredibly smart and eager to learn but prefers to engage in training sessions on his own time. He’s looking for a family that can match his energy level and provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love. Cyan would thrive in an active home with a yard to run in or an owner who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking or running. Cyan is friendly and social, with a sweet personality, though he would do best in a home with dominant female dogs. Although he is friendly with all dogs, Cyan has a tendency to mount other dogs in an attempt to establish dominance. This is something he is currently working on in his foster home. This is a non-issue when Cyan plays with other dogs who deter or correct this behavior. Cyan's ideal family is one who is familiar with the Husky breed's playful nature and independent spirit. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to bring endless joy and excitement to his new family! He is still learning to potty train and does have accidents (pee, never poo) in his kennel. With time and consistency, this can be eliminated. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will keep you on your toes, Cyan is the perfect fit!
