Story
Rose is a very good baby she loves to run and play like an husky does. She need’s somewhere with space for her to go out and play, she is not very good with other dogs but we had another dog she was raised with that she got along with. She is very protective of her owners and doesn’t like strangers. She is good with older kids I have a 10 year old she loves to cuddle with, we have not seen how she reacts to younger kids. We moved to a smaller place an would love her to go to a loving new home and not animal control.

Story
This is Sitka, a 2 1/2 year old male, almost all white, Husky and American Eskimo mix. I was Sitka’s original owner from when he was a puppy until I gave him to a new family last year. I had to find a new family for him that would love and continue raising him well the way I did since I had too many responsibilities surfacing in my life at the time. This past Sunday on the 17th I received an email from American Kennel Club (Sitka is microchipped) that he was reported lost and was in the care of an animal shelter. Since I am his original owner I was alerted along with his owners at the time. The family had apparently purposely let him out from their property and when the shelter tried reaching out to them, they denied every call until finally answering and stating they didn’t want him anymore after a year and 5 months of being in there care. If anyone is willing to take in Sitka and give him a home I would be truly grateful.

Story
Meet Firefly! He is an adorable 10 month old husky mix puppy who has lots of energy! He weighs 44 pounds and is almost full grown. Firefly is a rambunctious and wild little boy! He loves all the toys, and playing chase and tug-of-war with his foster siblings. He is extremely curious and is always trying to explore new areas of his foster home. He is very smart and is catching onto basic commands quickly. He loves being the center of attention. His baby blue eyes have stolen his foster mom's heart. He is housetrained too! He is a high energy puppy so his family should be prepared for a go go go adult dog. He is good with other dogs and he LOVES kids. He does have some anxiety from being left alone in a crate alone, but his is coming very far with training and taking reintroduction to his crate very very well! We think that he needs a home with a friend- another dog- and an owner who is home frequently throughout the day. He LOVES to play and run so a fence is a must! Firefly never meets strangers and is playful and always happy! If you are interested in adopting Firefly, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-7433 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. Story
Eva is a two year old, 62# Husky girl. She is likely not 100% Husky but her temperament and personality are very characteristic of the breed. She is spunky, playful, talkative, and has never met a stranger. Eva is active without being over-the-top in terms of energy level and settles well in the house with sufficient exercise. Being a husky, she can also be mischievous and a bit of a Houdini, though she is not destructive. With dogs she can be a bit domineering and is what I would classify as a “rude greeter”. Meaning, her body language when meeting new dogs can be a bit antagonistic and she has needed some coaching on how to interact more politely. Once she is acquainted with a dog, she is largely a gracious playmate and confidante, although she typically prefers male dogs. Not that I ever really condone dog parks except in special circumstances, but she is definitely not a dog park or commercial doggy daycare candidate. I also would not recommend her to a home with small animals or very young children. Eva has been bounced around a bit in her short life and would love to find her forever family. She walks well on leash, has good name recall, and knows basic obedience commands. She is also spayed, chipped, and up to date.

Story
Meet Kacy! This sweetheart is a fun loving, 3 year old female Husky mix. She’s as sweet as they come! Kacy is outgoing and has the best personality. She loves everyone she meets and is a very happy go lucky girl. She’s smart and listens very well. She will sit, shake and lay down on command. She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, current on shots and housebroken! She doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!! Kacy is wonderful as an inside dog, does great in the house and is also non-chewer. Ready to add a fun, loving and spunky girl, who loves walks, car rides and especially belly rubs to your life?&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 ***Kacy needs a fenced yard, preferably with a 6 ft wood fence which she currently has in her foster home. When you meet this girl you will fall in love, we promise!! For more info on Kacy, email caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com.November 3, 2024, 8:19 pm

Story
Hi, I am MoLena! I am named after the town I was found wondering through. Coco's attempted to locate my people, but they never came, but that's okay, I am ready for a new home. My new home will need to have a tall, sturdy fence, preferably one that I cannot see through. Due to my breed, I have a pretty intense prey drive and think cats and other small mammals are toys that I need to seek and destroy. So, no feline friends in the same household as me. I love to play with people and other dogs though and would make a great companion for someone. I am okay with kids, but I do prefer if they are a little older, so that they can play with me!
