Story
Sammy is a stunning 5 year old Siberian husky mix that was found as a stray on 12/11. He is microchipped but his owners did not reclaim him. They did mention that he is good with children and dog friendly. He’s not the best choice for being around farm animals and is not good with cats. He’s very sweet, walks great on the leash, very polite and gentle, and sits when asked. He’s up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and will be neutered upon adoption. Come meet this hunk of love in kennel 25, his ID is 15611. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
This beauty is Juliette! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 12/16, and sadly, her people never came to reclaim her. Juliette is now keeping her paws crossed for a new, forever home where she will be loved and kept safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Juliette as friendly and fun-loving. She LOVES treats, and she'll sit nicely for them! She also walks quite well on leash. Huskies are a working breed so they're driven and naturally inquisitive. Please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to devote to Juliette before adopting. She'll need lots of physical and mental stimulation to be her best self! Juliette is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 37 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed upon adoption. Juliette is waiting patiently in kennel 824; her ID # is 15713. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Story
Introducing Luke! He was brought to the shelter with ID on 10/26 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep him safe and sound so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Luke is only 4 years old and weighs a mere 63lbs. The volunteers describe him as a great dog that seems to get lost at times and into trouble as a husky will do because there is no job for him. He is also sweet, cute and playful. Huskies are super fun dogs, but they're also athletic and inquisitive. Luke will need a family who will keep him physically and mentally stimulated. If you have the time, energy, and patience to welcome a young husky into your heart and home please come meet Luke! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 27; his ID is 12978. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, devotion, patience, love and lifestyle to ensure Luke has the best upbringing possible. They are lifetime commitments. Period. Luke is current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Luke is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Story
Introducing this handsome fellow named Lucas! He was brought to the shelter on 12/16 because his former pet parents could no longer take care of him. So he is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep him safe and secure so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Lucas is only 3 years old and weighs a mere 48lbs. The volunteers describe him as cute, sweet, walks well on leash. Lucas has had his world turned upside down and doesn't really know what to do. He is a bit shy and scared and he enjoys the volunteers' attention, time and patience. He wants to open up and trust someone again but it will take some time. This is where you as a pet parent come into play. With a quieter environment to decompress, he will be able to show his personality much better. He is also a smart young man and he may know simple commands but he decided not to show off his talents. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 24; his ID is 15720. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the proper space, time, energy, love, devotion, and lifestyle to ensure that Lucas has the best upbringing possible. Lucas is also a breed that would benefit with a daily routine of activities to stimulate him mentally and doesn't wander off to explore the world all alone. Lucas is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Lucas is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life.
