Story
Nova is a beautiful 2 (almost 3) year old husky female. She has the sweetest most fun personality. She loves to play with her owners, especially tug of war. Nova can be shy and timid at first, but after she gets to know and love you she loves attention. She has been in our family since she was 6 weeks old. Nova would love a home that could give her much attention and love and be patient with her while she warms up. She would love a fenced in yard or someone who could take her on leash walks and give her outside time. Nova would do best as an only dog but may be open to housing with a male dog. She also would do better with no young children.

Story
Meet Blizzard, a brave and resilient boy with an incredible story of survival and recovery. Blizzard was found by animal control after being shot in the arm. When we saw him on the shelter's page, we knew we had to help him! We took Blizzard to an orthopedic specialist in North Alabama, who confirmed they could repair his shattered humerus. Using an external fixation device, the vet skillfully pieced his arm back together. Blizzard showed remarkable strength and determination throughout his recovery and now has no hardware left in his arm. While he will need physical therapy and possibly hydrotherapy in the future after the internal rod is potentially removed, Blizzard's spirit remains unbroken. Despite all he has been through, Blizzard is the sweetest boy ever and a joy to engage with. His affectionate nature and friendly personality make him a wonderful companion. Blizzard is ready to find his forever home, where he can continue to heal and receive the love he truly deserves. Adopt Blizzard and be a part of his amazing journey to a happy, healthy life.
