Story
Chassie is an adorable, sweet, and loving dog. She is playful, likes to have conversations with her human, and loves snuggling on laps, head rubs, and lots of naps. Chassie loves humans, is good with kids and cats, and is friendly with dogs after she has had time to become comfortable with them. Chassie loves walks, does well on her leash and absolutely loves car rides - it doesn't matter who is driving, she will jump right in.     She is house-trained, crate trained, and good with basic commands. We are working on introducing her to other dogs, as she is not socialized.    A perfect home for Chassie is someone who will give her lots of love and head rubs, talk to her, and has a fenced yard so she can sunbathe. She will do very well as the only dog in the house to soak up all the attention to herself and will need walks/jogs/runs for exercise until she has more time to become better socialized (no dog parks).  ##1558862##

Story
Hey, what’s up, HELLO! My name is Zuko. Everyone around town calls me an handsome man who is 6-years-YOUNG. I’m a pure bread Siberian Husky. I weigh about 90 lbs and have a pretty trim figure. My foster mom says I’m a couch potato. She thinks I’d do okay with kids but I really like to stalk cats so I’d be better in a house without them. Since I’ve lived in my foster house I’ve been told I’m a really sweet boy, whatever that means. I’m just here for the foods and snuggles. Oh, and the walks. And the things called car rides? I LOVE those. I’m a bit of a protective guy - a little selective with other fur friends especially when we’re on leashes, but I warm up to “the outsiders” pretty quickly. After all, the human ones have hands that will pet me and the fur ones will play with me! My very best tricks are “sit” and “down.” My foster mom makes me sit and “wait” when she sets my food down - I’m getting good at this, too. I’m looking for a comfy place to chill out. ZUKO - XOXO 🐾

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMALS PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! This is Roxy! She is a super sweet husky mix and a fluffy ball of love waiting for her forever home. As a husky mix, she adores getting snuggles from her humans. Could you be the one to give her all the love she deserves? From Roxy: Hey there, Im Roxy! Im a sweet, 3-5 year old Husky mix whos got a lot of love to give. Im crate trained, potty trained, and know some commands like "sit," "down," and "stay." Im a friendly girl who loves everyone I meet, especially older kids! I enjoy lounging around in the yard, basking in the sun, and playing with my squeaky toys. Im looking for a forever family that loves to cuddle, relax, and maybe even listen to some music or watch TV with me. Ive got a little trouble with my leg because of my accident, and sometimes I fall, but that doesnt stop me from having fun! Im doing much better, and my fosters took such good care of me! I do best on rugs because slippery wood floors arent my thing. A fenced yard where I can sunbathe and a family with older kids would be perfect for me! I promise, with a little guidance, Ill be your best buddy! If youve got room in your heart and home for a sweet, loving girl like me, lets meet! Ill make sure everyone in the room gets plenty of cuddles. Love,Roxy Medical: Roxy has injured her back leg from a car accident and it's currently healing. She has severe hip displaysia as well. She could have a permanent leg issue or need future medical care/surgery for her. Surgery would be recommended for the leg to be healed properly. We would be forever grateful for understanding adopters who could afford this expense in return for a dog that will love them with everything she has. Roxy is an amazing, sweet dog who deserves the world. Adoption FEE: $350 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. Story
Luna is the best dog I've ever had. I got her from a friends neighbor who was unable to meet her exercise needs. She is fun loving without an aggressise bone in her body. She loves people. She is an athletic dog she really likes to run and chase balls & sticks at the baseball park. Lune is 3 1/2 y.o. I'm in desperate need to find her a loving home preferably with Siberian Husy owners or previous owners but not a deal breaker if not. Hurrican Milton has done damage by flooding the lot where I live and I won't have electric for another 1 or 2 weeks. I've had to drive her around to cool her down here in Florida it's 85 degrees. I cannot afford a hotel and when we evacuated we stayed in my car for 2 days. I was injured and have had no work income since then. She deserves more than I can give. You would not regret taking in my beautiful Luna.

Story
Meet Penny! Rescued from a high kill shelter minutes before being put down. She is gorgeous in person with her striking blue eyes and mask. Her fur is super soft and has a sweet playful demeanor. She will curl up next to you when sleeping and may try to steal the pillow for herself. She's slightly over a year and is learning her basic commands. Would benefit greatly with training as she aims to please. She is house broken, crate trained and good with other dogs. Loves to run and enjoys an occasional swim. Story
Hello, my name is Bowser, I am a 4 year old Siberian Husky looking for a good home! I love people, and I socialize very well with other dogs. However, I will require careful supervision around small children and animals since I tend to play a bit rough, and I am easily excitable. Thank you for looking at my profile, and considering me to join a fur-ever home.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/karla Karla is a friendly and amiable canine companion who interacts well with people of all ages, as well as other animals. While she possesses a playful nature, she generally maintains a calm demeanor. She enjoys walks and car rides, exhibits excellent leash manners, and travels well in a vehicle. She is affectionate, preferring to stretch out while sleeping, and enjoys chewing on bones and treats, although she can be selective about her food. As a husky, she vocalizes, but her vocalizations are not excessive. She is reliably house-trained and prefers unsupervised time, though she does exhibit some anxiety during thunderstorms, seeking proximity and comfort. It is important to note that she is sensitive about having her rear end and paws handled, though she expresses this discomfort without aggression. Karla embodies the appealing qualities often associated with huskies, making her an exceptional canine companion. She is well-trained, responding to commands such as sit, down, stay, and shake. However, it is important to acknowledge that she sheds extensively. She will be in our care late January 2025. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Farrah, a 2-year-old rescue with a name as bold as her personality! Weighing 42 lbs, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, this high-energy Husky (or mix?) is ready to find her forever home. Farrah is a ball of fun—she adores car rides, loves playing fetch (and usually brings the ball back!), and can’t get enough of her toys. While she hasn’t destroyed her stuffies, tennis balls don’t stand a chance if left alone with her.   She appears housetrained, easily goes into her kennel, and is generally quiet, though she may howl for a few minutes when left alone. A fenced yard is a must for this energetic girl—no apartments, please! Farrah would thrive as the only pet in a home without small children or cats. She’s still learning her manners and working on curbing her habit of jumping for attention, but with the right adopter, she’ll continue building confidence. If you’re ready for an active, fun-loving companion, Farrah is ready to steal your heart!          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 13, 2025, 5:48 pm
