WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA Kohana is a handsome, senior boy at 10 years old. He came in as an owner surrender due to the owner becoming disabled and had to move in with her daughter who had other dogs that didn't get along with him. Kohana is a big boy at around 100 lbs. and sweet with adults. Particularly with females, he loves to sit on you. Unfortunately, he does not like kids and will bark at them. He'll give you a nudge with his head and paw at you when he wants attention. Out of character for most Huskies, if someone comes to the door or approaches the car while he is in it he will get excited and bark. He walks well on a leash and can walk with multiple dogs. He gets along with other dogs and will engage in playing with them. He does well in a car and likes to go for rides. This boy has storm anxiety as many dogs do. He loves to be brushed and get belly rubs. He's very food driven, and food needs to be kept off counters and trashcans need to be stored in pantries or inside a cabinet. Of note, he’s used to being with other dogs but he can be possessive of his humans and would do very well as the only dog, too. Kohana is healthy, Heartworm negative, housetrained, up to date on his shots and neutered. This is a sweet, lovable older boy who deserves a forever home for his remaining years. Gentle with Cats: I'm respectful around cats and even their litter boxes. But don't let that fool you, I love chasing squirrels and bunnies in the yard! Some extremely unkind teenagers were going to try to hang him!! People were trying to run him over with shopping carts as he was trying to rest. This poor boy has had a rough start to his life! Hector is good with other dogs and children. Cats unknown. He is housetrained and crate trained but hates being in a crate. Hector rides well in a car. Hector is learning what it’s like to be in a home environment and is adjusting slowly. From his temporary foster: Hector is now thriving with love and joy and now knows he is safe. He is truly so gentle and kind. We had a great first day with Hector in our home. He enjoys his toys, loves inside/outside life, house trained, and listens very well. We are a temporary foster and only available for a week. His stunning absolutely beautiful eyes match his calm and gentle demeanor. Chassie is an adorable, sweet, and loving dog. She is playful, likes to have conversations with her human, and loves snuggling on laps, head rubs, and lots of naps. Chassie loves humans, is good with kids and cats, and is friendly with dogs after she has had time to become comfortable with them. Chassie loves walks, does well on her leash and absolutely loves car rides - it doesn't matter who is driving, she will jump right in. She is house-trained, crate trained, and good with basic commands. We are working on introducing her to other dogs, as she is not socialized. A perfect home for Chassie is someone who will give her lots of love and head rubs, talk to her, and has a fenced yard so she can sunbathe. She will do very well as the only dog in the house to soak up all the attention to herself and will need walks/jogs/runs for exercise until she has more time to become better socialized (no dog parks). ##1558862##

Luna is a very sweet and loving 9 month old husky puppy. She has lots of energy since she is a puppy so she needs a home where she can get lots of play time with her new family, she loves being outdoors! She does very well with other dogs but not so much older dogs as she tends to be too play too rough for older dogs. A home with another puppy would be a great place for her! She needs structure so a home that can train her to follow commands is where she will thrive the most! She’s unbelievably loyal to her family! Luna is also very good with kids, especially ones that pay attention to her. We adopted her from a family friend’s parents who were too old to care for a puppy but they rescued her from neglect from only 2 months old! She deserves all the love in the world and a family that has time to be with her, and take her on adventures, she absolutely LOVES car rides!
