Very sweet girl. We got her from Lee County a few months ago. We recently had a change in management at our apartment complex and were told that husky is a restricted breed unless they are a service dog. She is good with other dogs and has the sweetest temperament. She knows commands like sits, down, speak and shake(hand shake)

Ginger is a sweetheart. Currently taking care of her for my parents. She was my parents dog but they had to rehome her due to taking care of special needs children full time. I want to find a good life for her as soon as possible. Up to date on shots and fixed. She is four years old and active.

Meet Dean! 💙 Dean is an absolutely stunning 2-year-old Husky with the fluffiest coat and the sweetest heart to match. He’s a total lover boy who adores people and is always ready for attention, snuggles, and affection. With those dreamy eyes and that majestic floof, it’s impossible not to fall head over heels for this handsome guy! Dean is still working on his manners and will thrive with continued training and structure—he's smart and eager to learn, just needs a little guidance to become the best version of himself. He must have regular, professional grooming to keep his gorgeous coat healthy, and he’ll need a family that understands the needs of his breed—both in care and in energy. Husky experience is a must for this boy! He’ll do best with an active home where he can get plenty of physical and mental stimulation. If you’ve got the know-how, the love, and the space for a big sweet fluffball, Dean might just be your perfect match. Come meet him—you won’t regret it! 🐾💫

Story
This gorgeous, playful boy came to us back in 2015 from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, NC.  He is lovable, energetic, affectionate... everything you could want in a young, large-breed dog.  Dakota truly needs a FOREVER home.  He has been returned to ARC FOUR TIMES since coming to us... and never for a reason that was a fault of his own!  His first adopter brought him back because they, 'didn't have enough time.'  His second adopter returned him because he got called back to the military.  This was very sad, as we had very high hopes for this adopter.  The third adopter returned poor Dakota because he was too energetic.  This poor boy just can't catch a break!  And finally, adopter number four returned him because he was too energetic, and was unwilling to train him (even though this was agreed to prior to adoption). Dakota needs an active, YOUNG family that will give him the exercise and attention that he really needs.  He would do well in a young family that has adequate time to train him, exercise him, and play with him.  If you're away from home frequently, or don't have the time to give him enough exercise and training, then Dakota is NOT the dog for you.  However, if you're willing to devote the time he deserves to raise and train him properly, he'd be just perfect. We even provide the trainer!!! So... because he has been returned so many times, we have decided to classify Dakota as Foster to Adopt.  This means that he must spend time in your home as a foster pet first.  His foster home will be required to work with our canine trainer on a weekly basis.  We will perform a home visit every week for the first few weeks.  Once all parties involved are satisfied that we've found his forever home, we'll consider adoption.  ARC will cover all costs associated with Dakota's care (food, medical, etc) during the time he's being fostered. Dakota is a wonderful, sweet dog.  He just needs the right forever home.  Why not come out and meet him? My ideal home: I need a forever home. A FOREVER home!!! Story
2/17/25 ~~~ Attention Siberian Husky Lovers ~~~ Meet Everest! Everest is approximately 18 months old and 45 pounds. He was pulled out of a local shelter due to lack of space and is looking for a great home. He’s happy, active, fun-loving and staying true to his breed; he’s quite a talker. Everest loves playing in his foster family’s swimming pool, so a home with a pool would be ideal. He also enjoys playing with other dogs, but it’s been reported from the shelter that he can be a tad guarded around his food, so responsible feeding at meal times would be recommended. We haven’t seen it, but we like to be transparent. We’re hoping for a family who has experience with the breed, since they’re known to be a little higher maintenance than the average dog. A 6’ fenced-in secure yard is a must. Everest is Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested Negative for Heartworm Disease.
