Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Farrah, a 2-year-old rescue with a name as bold as her personality! Weighing 42 lbs, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, this high-energy Husky (or mix?) is ready to find her forever home. Farrah is a ball of fun—she adores car rides, loves playing fetch (and usually brings the ball back!), and can’t get enough of her toys. While she hasn’t destroyed her stuffies, tennis balls don’t stand a chance if left alone with her.   She appears housetrained, easily goes into her kennel, and is generally quiet, though she may howl for a few minutes when left alone. A fenced yard is a must for this energetic girl—no apartments, please! Farrah would thrive as the only pet in a home without small children or cats. She’s still learning her manners and working on curbing her habit of jumping for attention, but with the right adopter, she’ll continue building confidence. If you’re ready for an active, fun-loving companion, Farrah is ready to steal your heart!          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 13, 2025, 5:48 pm

Story
Woof! I'm Ivy, a 3-year-old Siberian husky mix who's waiting for a feline-free furever family. My back story - I arrived at spcaflorida in mid-October 2023, a transfer from Polk County Animal Control. About two weeks after my arrival, I was adopted but sadly boomeranged back here the following day. I got adopted again in Novmber 2023, the was sadly dropped at Animal Control again as a "stray" in January by the person who adopted me. I'm a happy, playful girl who always has a smile and I've got a lot of life left and want to share it with you. Third time's a charm so my next home will be final with my furever family!

PLEASE READ THE ANIMALS PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! This is Roxy! She is a super sweet husky mix and a fluffy ball of love waiting for her forever home. As a husky mix, she adores getting snuggles from her humans. Could you be the one to give her all the love she deserves? From Roxy: Hey there, Im Roxy! Im a sweet, 3-5 year old Husky mix whos got a lot of love to give. Im crate trained, potty trained, and know some commands like "sit," "down," and "stay." Im a friendly girl who loves everyone I meet, especially older kids! I enjoy lounging around in the yard, basking in the sun, and playing with my squeaky toys. Im looking for a forever family that loves to cuddle, relax, and maybe even listen to some music or watch TV with me. Ive got a little trouble with my leg because of my accident, and sometimes I fall, but that doesnt stop me from having fun! Im doing much better, and my fosters took such good care of me! I do best on rugs because slippery wood floors arent my thing. A fenced yard where I can sunbathe and a family with older kids would be perfect for me! I promise, with a little guidance, Ill be your best buddy! If youve got room in your heart and home for a sweet, loving girl like me, lets meet! Ill make sure everyone in the room gets plenty of cuddles. Love,Roxy Medical: Roxy has injured her back leg from a car accident and it's currently healing. She has severe hip displaysia as well. She could have a permanent leg issue or need future medical care/surgery for her. Surgery would be recommended for the leg to be healed properly. We would be forever grateful for understanding adopters who could afford this expense in return for a dog that will love them with everything she has. Roxy is an amazing, sweet dog who deserves the world. Adoption FEE: $350 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption.
