Story
⸻ Why We’re Rehoming Mia – Our Sweet Siberian Husky This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family. Mia is a beautiful, well-behaved Siberian Husky we adopted from the Sanford Animal Shelter. She’s about 4 to 4½ years old and has brought so much joy to our lives with her gentle nature and loving personality. Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed. My mother recently passed away, and my 85-year-old father will be moving in with us. He requires daily care, and I also work full-time with increasing travel responsibilities. My husband is doing his best, but it’s become clear that managing both my father’s care and Mia’s needs is more than we can handle. We’re also concerned for my father’s safety, as Mia is still young and active, and there’s a risk he could trip over her. This decision comes from a place of love and responsibility. Mia deserves a home where she will receive the time, attention, and affection she needs.

Alika is the most adorable Siberian husky you'll ever meet! With one eye as blue as the sky and the other a warm brown, she's a true beauty. This little explorer enjoys nothing more than going on walks, soaking up all the attention, and showing off her affectionate side.

Story
Chapo is a 3-year-old Siberian husky who has been with me since birth. He is very playful and friendly around dogs and children. He gets a one-mile walk daily and exercises at the park monthly. Chapo is trained and does not eat personal belongings. He does not lie on furniture and alerts you if he has an emergency bowel movement. Otherwise, he utilizes outdoor in the mornings and evenings. Chopo is an excellent dog whom I love. Due to my work field’s constant changes and demands, I cannot give him the attention he desires. If you love to walk, Chapo is an excellent dog for long walks and exercise, or if you love simple peace but need company, Chapo lays down or plays with his toys.

Story
JJ is a one year old Husky. He is great with kids, has lived with young children and done amazing. He is also great with other dogs. He currently lives with cats, he does amazing with the one cat that does not run. He will sometimes chase the other cat that runs when she sees him, but he doesn't pursue her strongly (gives up as soon as she hops a baby gate or hops up high) and has never acted aggressively towards either cat. Would do best with a confident cat that stands their ground versus a skittsh cat that runs. Housebroken, crate trained and well mannered at home. Active dog that needs an active family and a yard.  Adoption fee $150, includes:Dog neutered and current on vaccinations.30 days of free pet insurance through MetLifeA free "clean start" bath, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and nail trim at ScenthoundFree training support for the life of the pet, including group classes. Adoptions are by appointment, please fill out an application so we can get to know you better. ##2291948##

Story
Duke is 8 years old and was born August 25, 2016. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. I’ve recently had a baby, and properly caring for Duke and making sure he lives his best life has been a struggle. Although he is 8 years old, he still has a lot of life in him! He loves a good walk, or a nice car ride and will do just about anything for a tennis ball. He is a great dog who loves attention but he has come to be very anxious around the baby and it’s stressing him out. I’m looking for a home where he will receive much love and attention. Duke tends to be more territorial around other Male dogs but has no issues with Female dogs. He has also been raised around cats his whole life and try’s to befriend them if they allow it, or leave them alone if they don’t want to be bothered. I think Duke would thrive in a home where he can get a lot of love!
