Story
UPDATE: Luna is ready for her forever home! She had surgery over 3 months ago, and she completed her rehab and she is officially cleared to be adopted. She had all of her follow up appointments with the orthopedic surgeon and she healed extremely well. Her cast is off, and she is back to being a normal husky. Luna LOVES to play with other dogs, and she has been flourishing on walks. You would not even know this girl was injured, and we are confident she will grow stronger each and every day. Please welcome Luna to our rescue. This girl sure has had a journey. She was picked up as a stray in the Miami area by amazing people who saved her from a busy intersection. They noticed Luna was not putting weight on her front paw, so they took her to the vet immediately and did radiographs. They found out she had a broken front paw. Her previous owners were found and stated Luna kept escaping and that it was best to find her a forever family, and they happily signed to surrender her over to our rescue to ensure she gets a good home. Luna underwent emergency surgery to fix her paw and luckily all went extremely well. We were able to save her leg and she had her first follow up appointment where the orthopedic surgeon said it is healing well! Luna is starting to put some weight on her leg, which means she is feeling better and stronger! She will be on strict low activity for the next couple weeks, but she will soon be available for adoption. Luna is around 1 year old, and she is a huge sweetheart. She is very dog friendly, she has well manners, she is potty trained, and she knows her basic commands. Luna loves to cuddle up next to you and she loves to get attention. She is a very good girl who has a lot of love to give!

Story
Please welcome Frost to our rescue! We just saved Frost from our local shelter PBACC. He is 5 years old, and poor guy is in rough shape. He is underweight, super smelly, and he likely has an old injury in his back leg making his back paw buckle. Luckily, his back paw does not bother him and he has likely been living with it for a while, and he walks around just fine. He saw our vet at as we wanted to get him seen asap, and they believe it is a tendon issue, which sadly if thats the case nothing can be done to correct it. Since his paw does not seem to bother him, and it like he has adjusted to walking with it! He may just be a special guy with a deformity, but we know a special home is out there for him that can look past it. Frost is a wooly husky and he is a good boy. He is super sweet with people, dog friendly, and he is lower energy and has a chill personality ! He is fully potty trained and he walks well on a leash. He is a very vocal guy who loves to WOO. He LOVES to be outside, so a fenced in backyard is an absolute MUST for him. Frost is on the lower energy side for a husky and he while he does love the companionship of other dogs, he is not a super rough player. He does good with dogs of all sizes! He is great in the car and he is just a big bear. Frost deserves a loving home who will properly care for him!
