WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA Kohana is a handsome, senior boy at 10 years old. He came in as an owner surrender due to the owner becoming disabled and had to move in with her daughter who had other dogs that didn't get along with him. Kohana is a big boy at around 100 lbs. and sweet with adults. Particularly with females, he loves to sit on you. Unfortunately, he does not like kids and will bark at them. He'll give you a nudge with his head and paw at you when he wants attention. Out of character for most Huskies, if someone comes to the door or approaches the car while he is in it he will get excited and bark. He walks well on a leash and can walk with multiple dogs. He gets along with other dogs and will engage in playing with them. He does well in a car and likes to go for rides. This boy has storm anxiety as many dogs do. He loves to be brushed and get belly rubs. He's very food driven, and food needs to be kept off counters and trashcans need to be stored in pantries or inside a cabinet. Of note, he’s used to being with other dogs but he can be possessive of his humans and would do very well as the only dog, too. Kohana is healthy, Heartworm negative, housetrained, up to date on his shots and neutered. This is a sweet, lovable older boy who deserves a forever home for his remaining years. Arya is a great dog, who loves people and learning new tricks. Her favorite part of the day is when she goes on walks! We have realized that her boundaries are unfortunately incompatible with our one year old child so we think it is best we rehome her, especially considering we have another child on the way. She would do completely fine in a home with kids 10 years of age or older, because she loves getting pets, but just doesn’t want to be crawled on. She gets along with other dogs, but we think she would do best in a home without another dog, since she does have an alpha personality. If you have any questions please reach out! We want to make sure Arya goes to a loving home.

Meet Scruffy! Here is a pup that definitely does not live up to his name. He is not actually scruffy, but he IS outgoing, playful, affectionate, intelligent...an all around super boy!! He is very attentive to his humans and loves to learn new things. Scruffy is a six year old, 57 pound husky mix. We don't know if he has been around children, so we would like to place him in a home with no small children. Couch potato and love bug! Ziggy is a nice guy. He is polite and friendly with both dogs, big and small people. He enjoys being outside getting some sun or a cool breeze. He appears housebroken and has good indoor manners. He is pretty laid back but does let loose and play a little with the younger dogs. He isn't big into toys, but he does like the knuckle bone to chew on a bit. He loves to eat! He isn't really fond of being brushed but will endure it for a little bit. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and is kennel trained, but he prefers not to be! Unfortunately for us, he is Not cat friendly. That is really the only negative thing. This boy is a family guy! Ziggy seems to be a lover. He would just like to lay his heavy head in your lap and be petted. He does not like to be alone. He is very much a velcro dog, and so far, he likes everyone he meets and seems very good-natured. He really isn't that big, but his head is surprisingly heavy, and he is very strong.‍ Ziggy will be in our care mid February 2025 ‍Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
