Story
Our family has come to the hardest things we've done and it is to unfortunately rehome our dog. A little back story, when we rescued him we were told he was a bit anxious and had problems with men. when we got him we worked with his anxiety and his fear of men. For 4yrs he was doing wonderful until now, his anxiety has gone through the roof, he won't settle unless he is on medicine and we cannot go out as a family because if we leave him alone (even on meds) his anxiety goes off. His fear of men is still there but he is absolutely easy to train (he is somewhat trained as well) financially my family and i are also not in a position to keep up with his vet visits or to keep up his meds as well. We are heart broken about this but we've tried it all and we just don't feel he is living his best life with us. Now, a little bit him his name is Dante and he is 4yrs old, he prefers women but if you are kind to him he will love you, he is okay with kids and he is also okay with some dogs!

Story
Betty is a rescue, she caught my eye in a PetSmart during National Pet Adoption Week and we adopted her. She became a mental service animal and loves being able to lay in your lap and put all her weight on you, which is very good for anxiety as well. Betty is energetic, loves kids, and loves to have fun. She knows sit, stay, lay, shake, paw, circle (her version of spin), and if you have a cage set up for her and want her to rest in the cage and tell her "cage" she will go. She is a very good dog nothing is wrong with her just unforeseen circumstances have come up within health reasonings and due to allergies we can no longer keep Betty. Betty does have a microchip it just has to be activated in adoptees name.

Story
Aspen is a fantastic dog, he is well trained and knows commands (sit, back, off, down, paw, speak, and roll over). He is very protective over his people, but is generally good with strangers. He loves long walks and does great on a leash. He is crate trained and prefers to have a crate available to rest in. He needs a new home due to increasing aggression towards a toddler in the house. He is good with older kids, but very snappy with younger kids. He is very dog selective due and typically does not do well with other pets in the house. Outside the house he ignores dogs unless they approach him. He has a high prey drive and cannot be around cats or other small animals. He has been the best dog but unfortunately it is no longer safe to keep him in the house. He is a skilled escape artist and can open doors and gates but before a toddler was in the mix chose not to except at the vet. He needs a home that has the time to walk him daily he is a very high energy breed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Angel, a spirited husky with a heart full of love and resilience! Despite past trauma, Angel is blossoming in her new surroundings and is eager to explore the world around her. With her striking eyes and fluffy coat, she’s not just a pretty face—she’s a loyal companion looking for her forever home. We had the vet assess her age today and their best guess is 7-8 years old so she is much younger than the shelter's original misinfo. Exercise Enthusiast: Angel thrives on outdoor adventures! She’s always ready for long walks and loves to feel the wind in her fur. Though she needs to stay cool—especially in warmer weather—her zest for life shines through during her outings. A perfect day for Angel includes rolling in the grass and observing all the backyard happenings. Social Butterfly: Angel is a natural when it comes to meeting new friends. She joyfully greets both people and other friendly calm dogs, making her an ideal companion for outdoor events like farmer's markets and festivals. You can count on her to bring a smile to everyone’s face with her friendly demeanor! Cuddly, but Not Quite: While she’s not a big cuddler, Angel adores gentle hugs and showering you with kisses in return. When it’s time to relax, she prefers settling at your feet on a cool floor rather than a soft dog bed, though she does appreciate a cooling pad during warm days. Routine and Rewards: Angel is extremely treat motivated! She knows how to sit nicely for a treat and is always keen to remind you if breakfast or dinner is running late with her classic husky howl. Lunchtime snacks are a must, and she’ll let you know if you forget! Ideal Home: Angel needs a loving family who spends a lot of time at home, as she can feel anxious when left alone (zero destruction, just nervous barking). This sweet girl is working on being left alone for longer periods of time without barking and becoming stressed.  She is following a training program that will need to be continued by the adopter.  She may thrive with doggie daycare a day or two a week to keep her social and stimulated. A safe outdoor area, like a fenced yard or patio, is essential for her happiness. Perfect Companion: If you’re looking for a devoted furry friend who enjoys the great outdoors and has a zest for life, Angel is ready to fill your days with joy. With a little patience and understanding, she will be an incredible addition to your family. Are you the one to help Angel continue her journey of love and adventure? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  Her adoption donation is $210 and includes spay, microchip and all age appropriate vaccines.   Please follow the link below to submit an application:  https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 4:17 pm
