Story
Please welcome Dimitri to our rescue! Dimitri definitely had a rough start to life. He was constantly being found on the streets of Miami. Dimitri is young and he is estimated to be anywhere from 1 year to 1.5 years old. Despite Dimitri’s rough past, he is a super good boy. He is super energetic and he loves to play fetch! Dimitri is dog-friendly and he is great with small children. Because of his rough play style, it would be best for him to go to a home with another energetic big dog to bond with! He is potty trained and we are working on crate training! Dimitri can be vocal and he has a cute husky talking woo. He needs a home with a 6ft fence backyard! He is super active and loves to play with tennis balls, frisbees, and sticks! He would do best in a home who can properly exercise him and give him the attention he truly deserves.

Story
UPDATE: Luna is ready for her forever home! She had surgery over 3 months ago, and she completed her rehab and she is officially cleared to be adopted. She had all of her follow up appointments with the orthopedic surgeon and she healed extremely well. Her cast is off, and she is back to being a normal husky. Luna LOVES to play with other dogs, and she has been flourishing on walks. You would not even know this girl was injured, and we are confident she will grow stronger each and every day. Please welcome Luna to our rescue. This girl sure has had a journey. She was picked up as a stray in the Miami area by amazing people who saved her from a busy intersection. They noticed Luna was not putting weight on her front paw, so they took her to the vet immediately and did radiographs. They found out she had a broken front paw. Her previous owners were found and stated Luna kept escaping and that it was best to find her a forever family, and they happily signed to surrender her over to our rescue to ensure she gets a good home. Luna underwent emergency surgery to fix her paw and luckily all went extremely well. We were able to save her leg and she had her first follow up appointment where the orthopedic surgeon said it is healing well! Luna is starting to put some weight on her leg, which means she is feeling better and stronger! She will be on strict low activity for the next couple weeks, but she will soon be available for adoption. Luna is around 1 year old, and she is a huge sweetheart. She is very dog friendly, she has well manners, she is potty trained, and she knows her basic commands. Luna loves to cuddle up next to you and she loves to get attention. She is a very good girl who has a lot of love to give!

Story
Winnie was saved from PBACC where she was picked up as a stray. This tiny girl is a total sweetheart! She gets along with everybody and she loves to play. She is all puppy and she needs an active home who can provide her tons of exercise! She is doing great with crate training, potty training, and she is very social with other dogs! Winnie would do best in an active home who will take her on outdoor adventures! She loves to go for long walks and she would do great at the dog park! We think Winnie is around 7-8 months old! She is tiny, but she has a mighty personality! She is more on the submissive side for a husky and she really does amazing with everybody she meets. She knows her basic commands and she has great recall. Winnie would love to go to a home with another husky or high energy dog to bond with. Winnie is such a lover, and she deserves a loving forever family of her own!

Story
Please welcome Frost to our rescue! We just saved Frost from our local shelter PBACC. He is 5 years old, and poor guy is in rough shape. He is underweight, super smelly, and he likely has an old injury in his back leg making his back paw buckle. Luckily, his back paw does not bother him and he has likely been living with it for a while, and he walks around just fine. He saw our vet at as we wanted to get him seen asap, and they believe it is a tendon issue, which sadly if thats the case nothing can be done to correct it. Since his paw does not seem to bother him, and it like he has adjusted to walking with it! He may just be a special guy with a deformity, but we know a special home is out there for him that can look past it. Frost is a wooly husky and he is a good boy. He is super sweet with people, dog friendly, and he is lower energy and has a chill personality ! He is fully potty trained and he walks well on a leash. He is a very vocal guy who loves to WOO. He LOVES to be outside, so a fenced in backyard is an absolute MUST for him. Frost is on the lower energy side for a husky and he while he does love the companionship of other dogs, he is not a super rough player. He does good with dogs of all sizes! He is great in the car and he is just a big bear. Frost deserves a loving home who will properly care for him!

Story
Hello, I'm Caleb, hoping to become your future source of joy and vitality! Life's journey can be unpredictable, but I'm always geared up for what's ahead. Having wandered as a stray and taken shelter in Georgia, I've now found my place at the wonderful Big Dog Ranch. I'm eager to jump into your life with enthusiasm. Speaking of jumping, I do have quite the bouncy legs, but I'm honing my skills with my trainers. My zest is evident-I am the very picture of joyous energy at three years old. Be it running, playing, or basking in the sun, I relish every moment with passion. And water? It's my ultimate delight! Walking with me is a pleasure-I have a natural knack for companionship, and every walk is a delight. I am friendly with other dogs and always eager to make new acquaintances. Remember, just because I am friendly, I still need a proper introduction when I am meeting a new dog. My passion for play knows no bounds; I love chasing toys and romping around with other friendly canine companions. I'm up for any training that will help me reach my full potential. If you're in search of a spirited, affectionate partner who wholeheartedly loves life, your search ends here. I'm Caleb, and I'm looking forward to starting a journey filled with happiness, learning, and memorable experiences with you. Together, let's turn every day into an extraordinary adventure! Please take me home and let's start our life together.

Story
Please welcome Tyson to our rescue! Tyson is a 5 year old Alaskan Malamute and he is a big boy! Tyson sadly lost his home because his owners are disabled and can no longer care for him properly. Tyson is very dog friendly, and he has been to doggy daycare regularly! He is very social and loves to play with other dogs! Tyson does good with both small dogs and large dogs! Tyson is is around 100lbs so he MUST go to a home with a fenced in backyard. Tyson is even great with kids and he is very gentle with them. Tyson can be anxious at times, and we find being around other dogs is very good for his self confidence. Tyson would LOVE to go to a home with another dog to bond with! He is currently in boarding with our behavioral trainer in Orlando area. She is working on teaching him some basic commands, to teach him leash manners, and to work on his anxiety out on walks and in public. Tyson definitely needs a patient home who can understand he can be anxious at first, but overall he is a VERY sweet boy with a loving temperament. We would LOVE for Tyson to go to a malamute experienced home! He is completely potty trained and non destructive. Tyson would make a great addition to a loving forever family. He needs a forever home who will continue to work on socialization with the outside world and can help Tyson continue to gain confidence.

Story
Ellie has been used for breeding and was a recent mama. Her coat was in terrible condition and we could literally just pull chunks off of her. Ellie let us brush her, and she definitely felt a lot better afterwards. Ellie has such a sweet demeanor, she was cautious at first, but now she knows she is safe. She is 3 years old, and she is on the calmer side for an Alaskan Malamute. We believe Ellie was someone’s pet before ending up on the breeding “farm” as she has leash manners and a bit more confidence unlike the other malamutes we saved. She has leash manners, and she is super playful with toys! She gets comfort in being around other dogs, so she would definitely do best in a home with another dog to bond with . Ellie does great with crate training, potty training, and she is dog friendly! She sadly had a bad past, but now that she is in our care, she will never be used as a breeding machine ever again.
