Roger came to us as many of our dogs do - from the euthanasia list. Abandon by his owner and left in a shelter to die, Roger's charming nature still made him shine. Roger was a shelter staff favorite and had deeply touched the volunteers. When they reached out to Swampland Husky Rescue to save his life, of course we jumped into action and saved this fun, beautiful boy! With a new lease on life, Roger continues to be a sweet, goofy boy who loves affection and even a dip in the lake. Roger Loves Adventure and would do well with someone who likes to take hikes, run or long walks. Roger is pretty calm for a Husky!! He walks well on a leash, loves car rides or to just lay by your feet and collect all of the attention you can give him. He also does great with the groomer! Roger knows basic commands and is eager to learn new things. He carries out all of his tasks with a smile on his face. Despite Roger's size, little dogs can scare him. Roger would love to meet you so you can fall in love with his good looks and great charm. Roger is up to date on vaccines, neutered and will come with one session with our trainer.

Tyson is a gorgeous, friendly, happy young boy who once had a family who loved him but was found roaming the streets and landed in a high kill facility. We couldn't let this boys story end like that!!!! Tyson loves people and is good with kids. A true Husky, he always has a smile on his face and loves to be happy and play! Some of Tyson's favorite things include playing Fetch, going for walks and he loves car rides. Tyson is a gorgeous boy with great markings and stunning brown eyes! Tyson knows his basic commands, does well at the groomer, he is kennel trained, he's enthusiastic about walks and pulls on his leash but calms down quickly once walking and he is eager to learn what ever you want to teach him. This sweet loving boy is looking for a Forever Family to call his own!! Tyson is up to date on vaccines and he is neutered.

Cannoli comes to us from Dallas, Texas! This sweet southern girl has all of that beauty and such charm! Cannoli did not have the best story prior to coming to our rescue. She had been hit by a car more than once and because she did not receive proper medical attention, 3 of her 4 limbs healed twisted. Due to her untreated injuries, she's developed early arthritis and takes joint supplements and Carprofen daily (Carprofen is about $20 per month). The good news is that her prior trauma doesn't stop her!!! Even at 8 years old, she's so happy to be able to sniff and explore, she trots around like a puppy again. Cannoli LOVES attention. She LOVES her humans. She Loves being petted and getting belly rubs. Cannoli is a cuddler who will snuggle up with you and just hang out while you adore her for the princess that she truly is. She likes short walks and is very low maintenance. This girl wants nothing more than to reward you with hours of affection. Cannoli is a very calm girl who seems to be good with most dogs. She would do best in a home with calm, friendly dogs or as an only pet. High energy pups would be too much for this special needs girl.

Moon is probably the coolest dog you will ever meet. Along with his charm,,,,, have you seen this face?!! Those good looks will get him everywhere! Moon loves to cuddle!! He loves his people and he's great with other dogs,,,, as long as they're cool too! Moon isn't overly talkative for a Husky but he does have a really cool WoooWOO when its time for food. Moon has had a crazy past but none of that has phased this amazing guy. He is still as sweet as can be and totally awesome. Moon was rescued from a shelter in California and adopted to someone on the East Coast who was not cool. After traveling all of those miles to meet his new mom, she dumped him at another shelter within hours of his arrival. This was not cool with us!!!! Swampland Husky Rescue saved this boy and he will Never see the inside of a shelter again.. Moon is a calm happy guy who loves to play in the water. He loves to lay on the couch watching TV. He loves his walks and adores his play time. At this young age, Moon likes soft stuffy toys a little too much so he should not be alone with them. Moon needs a stable, healthy, Forever Family in Florida. He is asking for someone to love him for all of his days, someone to watch his favorite TV shows with him, someone to walk him, play with him and be really Cool! Moon is house trained, crate trained, up to date on shots and neutered. This boy is the full package!

Meet Ghost! A gorgeous puppy with the best smile ever!!!! This beautiful young boy was saved from the shelter just hours before being euthanized for space. Despite being in the shelter, Ghost is the happiest boy. He loves going for car rides, loves laying on the couch with his people getting petted, loves to play with toys and he loves to be the center of attention. Being young, Ghost will need a strong owner who can help him with proper positive training and guidance for things like counter surfing, interacting with other dogs and meeting new humans. After his time in the shelter, Ghost is fearful of being handled roughly so he needs a soft touch. Tether training is going to help Ghost become the best boy in the world. Ghost is looking for someone who understands young Husky behavior and will show him that his new life is not something to be afraid of but something he can relax and enjoy. Because Ghost is still a puppy and was mishandled in the past, we are guarded to say he would be ok with children.

Urgent! Bandit is a two year old Siberian Husky. He isn't fixed, yet, but we are working on that. He is true to his breed and boy is a nut. A good boy and a sweet dog. If you know huskies, you know he is an escape artist. He is quite the handful until he runs his energy out, a bit. He does exhibit food aggression (towards other dogs) but he is crate trained (and accustimed to taking his meals in the crate). He is, otherwise, good with other dogs (he hasn't been around cats). Bandit's foster took over his care on a temporary basis as a favor to the dog (and original owner). That owner never returned. This well intentioned friend is now the unsuspecting owner/foster of a high drive, unvetted esacape artist. This is one of the many calls we get, each week. Fortunately, Bandit has a committed caretaker and this allows us time to work. A husky is an intense dog. They need an owner that seriously understands what they are committing to. A secure yard and a lot of stimulation and activity. Amd there will be grooming and hair. He will eventually start to simmer down (as he gets older) but right now he is full throttle. My mom is a 35 pound ChowChow. I'm a very sweet and playful puppy, but can be a bit nervous around strangers. I have always lived with kids, so should do fine in a home with a kid (my last kid was 9). I'll make a great family addition or companion to a single person as I get attached to my family quickly and am just a super loving girl. I'm doing well on my housebreaking and crate training. I've lived in an apartment for the last couple of months, and am hoping for a home with a yard (or one where I will get more exercise). I've been the only pet for the last few months of my life, so may do best as the only pet in the home or with an adopter who is willing to train me to share my people with other dogs.
