Story
Luna is a wonderful husky with a curious personality. My brother found her in Jacksonville, FL; she had been abandoned by a neighbor of his. She was neglected and extremely dehydrated. It didn’t look like they had been feeding her. But despite all of that Luna was the happiest dog, eager for love and affection when she was found. We accepted her as a foster dog and have been looking for a loving home for her. We have an older German Shepherd that she gets along with well. She is extremely playful and loves to run around and cuddle. We also have a newborn baby and she is wonderful around her, never getting in her space or paying any mind to her cries. Luna is very food driven which is great for training but you do have to be vigilant about any food out on counters. We have been working on training her; as of now she: - does not bark like crazy (unless scared and alone) - is kennel trained - good on the leash (just very excited) - knows sit, down, no, and stay

Story
Hi, I’m Apollo! I’m 5 years old and full of fun and energy! I might be on the smaller side, but I’ve still got a little growing to do. I absolutely love running and playing, just like most Huskies, so I’d really love a backyard to call my own—preferably fenced, so I don’t get too distracted and wander off on an adventure! I adore all dogs and humans, but with all this energy, I might be a bit much for the little ones. Sometimes I get so excited that I might accidentally bump into them or play a bit too rough. But don’t worry, I’m eager to learn and improve if someone just gives me a chance. I already know how to sit, catch, and almost stay, and I’m always ready to learn more, especially if there are treats involved! I’m a super quick learner and love to please. I have not been tested with cats. Oh, and guess what? I once jumped into a pool and was surprised at how cool it was—I can swim! I’d love to be your shadow, helping out in the kitchen or just hanging out. Having a friend to play with would be amazing too. Could that be you? I promise I’m a very good boy!

Story
Hi, I’m Ziek, a 10-year-old Siberian Husky with stunning eyes, one blue and one brown, and I also have the heart of a puppy! Don’t let my age fool you—I’m full of energy and love to run. I can easily go 2 to 3 miles if you’re up for the adventure! But when I’m not on the move, I just want to be by your side, watching what you’re up to, keeping you company, and even chatting with you in my own way. I’m housebroken and crate trained (though I’m not a big fan of the crate). I’ve been to the dog park and did great with medium and large dogs, but I’d rather not be around small dogs, kids, or cats. When I’m on a leash, I start out excited and might pull—especially if I see another dog—but I’m working on my manners. I do have a few quirks—I can’t resist getting into the trash sometimes, I need a little help with leash training, and I have a funny habit of pushing my food around before eating. But with some guidance, I know I can improve! What makes me special? I’m incredibly sweet, full of life, and always want to be part of whatever you’re doing. I love belly rubs, being brushed, and spending time with my people. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving Husky who will bring excitement and joy into your life, I might just be your perfect match!

Story
Meet Sasha, the 8-month-old Siberian Husky with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This sweet girl is always ready to spread joy, whether it's through zoomies in the backyard or curling up in your lap for some snuggle time. Sasha is all about affection—she loves being loved and is a certified lap dog who will happily climb into your lap the moment you sit down. She's also super gentle with people and would likely do great with kids! Sasha is full of energy and loves to play—especially with her dog friends, Tesla and the puppies! She’s not shy about showing off her zoomies, and if she’s in the yard, you’ll often find her digging around for the perfect stick. She's potty trained, has never had an accident in the house, and can be trusted outside of her crate for short periods of time without getting into any trouble—she just naps and waits patiently for her next adventure. While Sasha is still learning some doggy boundaries, she’s a quick learner and loves socializing. She’s great with other dogs, though she can be a bit much for smaller ones. Sasha is also doing wonderfully on the leash, and her recall is impressive—she’ll come when called unless she thinks you're about to put her in her crate (then her selective hearing kicks in, of course)! Please read requirements on our website www.huskyhavenfl.org/adopt to ensure you meet puppy criteria. Adoption fee is $400, which includes: Vaccines & boosters (our vet) Microchip Fecal test Spayed Leash, collar, and HHOFL tag To apply Pay the $25 here on our website or via Facebook DONATE button Send a screenshot of the $25 payment to our email huskyhavenfl@gmail.com Only then we will process the application. Please know the $25 application fee is NOT a guarantee and it's NOT refundable. Thank you for your understanding. We charge an application fee for puppies, because people do not read the post and the criteria in it's entirety. So instead of getting 100s of unqualified apps of which our volunteers take lots of time to process, this would reduce the amount of those that are not unqualified. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Hi there! I'm Edgar, a 4-year-old, 47-pound bundle of joy and mischief. I'm neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped—ready to be your new best friend! I get along really well with my fellow dogs, especially my husky buddy. We play a lot, and even though the other dogs might tolerate me, I'm never aggressive and would love to play with them if they let me. I'm great on my own or with another dog. I haven't had much experience with kids, but I suspect I'd be really good with them too! Just so you know, I'm a bit of an escape artist and love to slip out the door for a tour around the neighborhood. It's all part of my adventurous spirit! I'm not the biggest fan of crates, but I will go in and stay there if needed. I'm still working on being fully housebroken, so it's best not to trust me to roam freely just yet. Despite all that, I'm such a lovable dog. I give the cutest hugs and am what you might call a "velcro dog"—I stick close to my people because I love their company! I am so lovable, super friendly, and have a fun personality. With my sweet, friendly nature and fun-loving personality, I'm sure to bring joy and laughter into your home. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I'm the perfect pup for you!
