Story
Meet Penny! Rescued from a high kill shelter minutes before being put down. She is gorgeous in person with her striking blue eyes and mask. Her fur is super soft and has a sweet playful demeanor. She will curl up next to you when sleeping and may try to steal the pillow for herself. She's slightly over a year and is learning her basic commands. Would benefit greatly with training as she aims to please. She is house broken, crate trained and good with other dogs. Loves to run and enjoys an occasional swim. Story
Luna is the best dog I've ever had. I got her from a friends neighbor who was unable to meet her exercise needs. She is fun loving without an aggressise bone in her body. She loves people. She is an athletic dog she really likes to run and chase balls & sticks at the baseball park. Lune is 3 1/2 y.o. I'm in desperate need to find her a loving home preferably with Siberian Husy owners or previous owners but not a deal breaker if not. Hurrican Milton has done damage by flooding the lot where I live and I won't have electric for another 1 or 2 weeks. I've had to drive her around to cool her down here in Florida it's 85 degrees. I cannot afford a hotel and when we evacuated we stayed in my car for 2 days. I was injured and have had no work income since then. She deserves more than I can give. You would not regret taking in my beautiful Luna.

Story
Duke is 8 years old and was born August 25, 2016. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. I’ve recently had a baby, and properly caring for Duke and making sure he lives his best life has been a struggle. Although he is 8 years old, he still has a lot of life in him! He loves a good walk, or a nice car ride and will do just about anything for a tennis ball. He is a great dog who loves attention but he has come to be very anxious around the baby and it’s stressing him out. I’m looking for a home where he will receive much love and attention. Duke tends to be more territorial around other Male dogs but has no issues with Female dogs. He has also been raised around cats his whole life and try’s to befriend them if they allow it, or leave them alone if they don’t want to be bothered. I think Duke would thrive in a home where he can get a lot of love!

Story
Courtesy Post for a rescue partner. We are assisting Greener Side Haven with placing Wolfie ! Wolfie is a striking Siberian Husky/Lab(?) mix. He is about 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs, is neutered, partially housebroken, current on vaccinations, dewormed and has a clean heartworm test. He has a short Lab like coat but Husky markings and that traditional tail curl. Wolfie has a big personality and like many young Huskies can be willful & headstrong, but is very smart. He is a very active dog and will try to escape, so a 6’ privacy fenced yard is required to keep this guy safe. We believe Wolfie would do best with someone who has Siberian breed experience. No small children or small dogs please. For more details and to arrange a meet ‘n greet, please call 352-746-3545. If you have questions about the Siberian breed feel free to email us at: foccas@tampabay.rr.com More pics of Wolfie can be found here: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/wolfie-59987955/fl/inverness/foccas-inc-fl1385/

Story
Woof! I'm Ivy, a 3-year-old Siberian husky mix who's waiting for a feline-free furever family. My back story - I arrived at spcaflorida in mid-October 2023, a transfer from Polk County Animal Control. About two weeks after my arrival, I was adopted but sadly boomeranged back here the following day. I got adopted again in Novmber 2023, the was sadly dropped at Animal Control again as a "stray" in January by the person who adopted me. I'm a happy, playful girl who always has a smile and I've got a lot of life left and want to share it with you. Third time's a charm so my next home will be final with my furever family!
