Story
Hi, I’m Jack and I’m a 7-year-old who’s sweeter than sweet. Have you ever seen a smile as wide as mine? And what about my flair for fashion? From a brightly patterned necktie to a boldly colored neckerchief, I ROCK them both! Happily at home in my foster home, I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. Easygoing, eager to please, and eager to LOVE, I may not be huge on snuggling, but I am big on kissing. I give my foster parents the best kisses ever. And, the surprise of surprises, I’m good with cats after the proper introductions are made! Brimful of puppylike spirit and spunk, I love, love, love PLAYING. I get along famously with other playful dogs while learning all about boundaries at the same time. I also love going for walks, walking wonderfully on a leash, and taking rides in the car in search of the next great adventure. Currently honing those puppylike manners, such as staying off counters, I know that with practice, I’ll be paws-itively perfect. I also know that I’ll reward you, my future forever family, with a lifetime of loyalty, loving, and … kisses! I am housebroken, not crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of my shots.

Story
Hi, I’m Apollo! I’m 5 years old and full of fun and energy! I might be on the smaller side, but I’ve still got a little growing to do. I absolutely love running and playing, just like most Huskies, so I’d really love a backyard to call my own—preferably fenced, so I don’t get too distracted and wander off on an adventure! I adore all dogs and humans, but with all this energy, I might be a bit much for the little ones. Sometimes I get so excited that I might accidentally bump into them or play a bit too rough. But don’t worry, I’m eager to learn and improve if someone just gives me a chance. I already know how to sit, catch, and almost stay, and I’m always ready to learn more, especially if there are treats involved! I’m a super quick learner and love to please. I have not been tested with cats. Oh, and guess what? I once jumped into a pool and was surprised at how cool it was—I can swim! I’d love to be your shadow, helping out in the kitchen or just hanging out. Having a friend to play with would be amazing too. Could that be you? I promise I’m a very good boy!

Story
Hi, I’m Hardy! I’m a 3-year-old Husky who’s had a rough start, but I’m ready for a fresh beginning with a loving family. I was pulled from a shelter just in time and had to be shaved because of severe matting. But don’t worry—when my fur grows back, I’ll be one stunning Husky! I’m housebroken and crate trained, though I’m not a fan of the crate and might whine a bit because I’d rather be near you. I have lots of energy and love being around people, but sometimes I get a little too excited and might jump up to say hello, so I might be too much for small kids. I’m still learning how to be comfortable around other dogs, so I need slow introductions and patience. I enjoy walks and do well on a leash, though I can’t resist chasing squirrels. I’m affectionate, goofy, and love being involved in whatever you’re doing. You’ll find me splooting, chasing my tail, or enjoying a good chew on my bone. I’m also good in the car and don’t mind baths! I know I need to work on some things, like manners with other dogs and making sure I only chew on my toys, but I’m worth the effort. Despite everything I’ve been through, I’m full of love, sweetness, and excitement for life. I’m looking for a patient family who will help me learn and love me unconditionally. Could that be you? I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Story
Hi!! I'm Max and I am the bestest boy!! I am 2-and-a-half years old and have the most beautiful baby blue eyes! I love cuddles, kisses, snuggles, and everything! You can take my toy, you can take my food, I don't care as long as you're human. Another doggo, I can be a little bit possessive of my things. I am good on a leash but be careful of small things as I just gotta chase them!!! Ducks, cats, squirrels, you name it, I'm gonna chase it so maybe a home with bigger dogs like me would be best. I am very smart, and I respond great to training...especially when treats are involved! I am housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on my shots. I just need my forever home and I'll be set!!

Story
I'm a handsome Husky around 14 years old, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. When I first arrived, I was so shut down that I slept for three days straight. It was clear that the trauma from being abandoned hit me hard—I barely ate and was just skin and bones. But over time, I slowly started to come out of my shell. After two and a half weeks, I've become a true member of the family, and I'm slowly gaining weight and looking much healthier. At first, it seemed like I was ignoring everything around me, but my human realized that I'm mostly deaf. I can only hear very loud noises, so I like to stay close and be a bit of a shadow. I'm pretty smart, though, and I've learned to understand basic hand signs and commands. I'm usually quiet, but like most Huskies, I can get vocal when the mood strikes. I'm housebroken, non-destructive, and have very little prey drive. I'm also good with cats, very affectionate, and I love being petted and cuddled. For my age, I'm still pretty active and enjoy going on long walks. I'm great on a leash with only minimal pulling, and I get along well with other dogs. However, I wouldn't be the best match for small children since I'm sometimes a bit unsteady on my legs and could get hurt around them. I think as I continue to gain weight, I'll become more stable. Overall, I'm in good health and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend.

Hi, I'm June, a 11-month-old Siberian Husky mix. I'm housebroken and I love my cozy crate. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, and I’m very curious and playful with cats, but always gentle. When we go for walks, I’m full of excitement and sometimes pull on the leash, but I’m learning quickly. I’m known for being playful, affectionate, and non-destructive. My humans say my striking markings are really something special. I have lots of energy and absolutely love playing fetch—I can keep bringing the ball back for more and more fun! When playtime is over, I adore being with my people. You'll often find me laying on their feet or snuggling up right next to them while they work. Adoption fee is $400, which includes: *Microchip *Spay *Leash, collar, and HHOFL tag

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Clover is the sweetest husky mix boy. He is 1 year old, weighs 35 lbs. and has tons of puppy energy. Clover is so loving and is obsessed with cuddling! He is good with other dogs and is currently being fostered in a home with large breed dogs and various-age foster cats. Although he does live with cats, he does have a prey drive. Understanding that he is still a young dog, he does better with the younger teenage playful kittens versus the older adults. The more outgoing the cat, the better the relationship he can have with them as it will limit the chasing. He does great around children as well. He is learning basic commands and responds well to treats training. Clover is housebroken and crate trained. Being that he is still young, providing him with ample puppy toys, and safe chew toys is a must. He loves flavored bones and squeaky toys, which he is very good about not shredding. He is great on a leash and in the car. We are requiring a secure minimum 6-ft. fenced-in yard for him. He will need supervision whenever he is outside - he gets bored easily, loves to explore and will try to find a way to escape. Clover is high energy, loves to play, and will thrive in a home with an active-lifestyle family who can include him in outdoor activities and will provide him with structure and enrichment toys. He will benefit from puppy classes as well. Another large playful dog in the home would help him with his socialization and need for play. Huskies are generally intelligent, loyal and loving companions, but they are not a breed that can be left alone all day. Overall, Clover is the best puppy and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and think you are a perfect match for Clover, please complete an app and tell us more about your family. November 5, 2024, 7:56 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Kato is a happy dog who loves to chew on bones! He enjoys spending time with his humans.  He loves to go on long walks. Kato loves running around and knows several commands such as sit and touch. He is a spunky boy who loves to play and be the center of attention. He is a working dog who would love a job of some kind. Kato does needs to be the only dog in the home because he is selective about the dogs he is around. Kato is a kind, yet dominant and physically strong dog. Siberian Huskies are not a breed for 1st time dog owners.  They need a family who are experienced with Huskies and can maintain an alpha and kind position in the home. His new home requires a fenced-in backyard to run and play like a Husky should.Kato was a previous PRBJ dog who was returned after his owners stated they did not want him.  Kato was severely neglected coming in with all of his fur matted and dirty and unable to walk much due to the pulling of his fur.  The only thing we could do was take him in to have his fur completely shaved off.  In his pictures you can see how he looked when he was adopted out a few years ago with his full beautiful coat, then how he came in full of mats and then his new summer coat.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 27, 2024, 9:50 am
