Story
Introducing Miranda, a delightful 2-year-old Siberian Husky with a calm demeanor and a heart full of love. This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is known for her mellow and relaxed nature. Miranda walks gracefully on a leash, making her an ideal companion for leisurely strolls in the park or quiet walks around the neighborhood. With her friendly disposition, you'll find it hard to say anything but good things about her. Training Needs: While Miranda is a gentle and easygoing dog, she may need some training to help her adapt to her new environment and reinforce basic commands. Consistent training with positive reinforcement will help Miranda continue to thrive and become an even more well-behaved companion. What to Expect When Adopting a Dog: Adjustment Period: Your new dog will need time to adjust to their new home. Be patient as Miranda settles in and becomes familiar with her surroundings. Training: Consistent training is essential for a well-mannered dog. Use positive reinforcement techniques to teach commands and establish routines. Exercise Needs: Siberian Huskies are known for their energy levels. While Miranda is mellow, she will still benefit from regular exercise to keep her healthy and happy. Socialization: Continue to socialize Miranda with other dogs and people to ensure she remains friendly and well-adjusted. Healthcare: Regular vet check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care are important to maintain Miranda's health. Love and Companionship: Be prepared to shower Miranda with love and attention. Story
Diego came to us from Mexico. He was found tied up on a wall trying to escape a yard full of feces and algae water without food or water. His collar cut his neck severely while we was trying to escape. Though he is healed, sometimes the past can still haunt him. Diego is completing a board and train program with Frankie and Friends Dog Training. He will come with free dog training sessions with her for one year post adoption! - He's good with other dogs. He has play sessions daily and is a respectful player - He does have resource guarding of food and must eat in his crate. He has made incredible strides with his dog trainer and no long guards as long as he eats in his crate. He was tied to a pole and had his neck ripped off with his food being maggots so do you blame him?? Very manageable and the fosters havent seen this behavior since the first week they had him - Crate trained! He is quiet and not destructive when left alone in the crate. - Loves to go for walks, runs and hikes. He's active and young so loves to run and play as much as you'll let him. Great hiking dog and dog for anyone active! - BONUS an amazing ski joiring dog (he can pull you on skis!) - He is e collar trained and has amazing recall. A Husky with recall?? yes please! - He is good on leash and has learned to walk in a heel and with multiple other dogs - He has lived with cats before and will chase them so best to go to a cat free home - very young children are not recommended for the home he is living in but older kids will be fine Check out his foster/dog trainers instagram page highlight of him to see his progress and how his training is going! @frankieandfriends_dogtraining
