Story
Jack is a funny little fellow! He has benefitted from the companionship of other dogs, so if he isn't joining a multi-dog household then a few thoughtfully selected playmates he can spend time with would likely benefit him. Our walkers tell us that Jack is an exuberant boy who loves affection and may enjoy carrying a stick or perhaps a toy on his walks. He really enjoys being in the play yard where he can run around doing zoomies to his heart's content. Jack will only be placed in a home with children 10 years of age or older and without cats. Story
Hero was adopted from a shelter when he was just a puppy. He will be one in April. He does okay with other dogs, he does not quite understand what cats are. He is a LOVER. Loves to cuddle and be pet. Loves to play. He struggles on walks sometimes, doesn’t quite understand he is on a leash. I’ve been hospitalized frequently lately, and I want him to have the best care he can get & I just cannot provide that now. He would do best with someone who works from home, but he is crate trained. I wanted to try this site to prevent placing him in a shelter again. He is fearful in the car thinking he will be going to a shelter.

Story
Meet Poncho, a remarkable 4.5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who’s searching for his forever home. Rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous owner had to move and couldn’t take him along, Poncho is a unique and lovable companion with a heart of gold. Poncho is a good-natured and sweet dog who does well with middle to large dogs and is incredibly intelligent. He prefers to spend most of his time outside and doesn’t seek out cuddles or furniture, but he shows his affection in his own special ways. His high energy levels and need for mental stimulation mean he thrives with proper exercise and engaging activities. Ideal for someone who works from home, Poncho doesn’t like to be alone and may struggle with separation, especially at first. He can be a bit vocal, giving you an earful as huskies are known to do, but his charming personality and loving nature make him an exceptional companion. Poncho is a special dog who will bring joy and loyalty to the right home. If you’re looking for a unique and devoted friend who’s ready to become a cherished part of your life, Poncho is the one for you.
