Story
Riggs is a 10-12 month old, male, Siberian Husky and boy is he true to his roots. He loves to chase bunnies, has a bit of sass, and has an independent nature. Riggs is dog friendly and seems oddly non-reactive to cats but hasn’t lived directly with one. He’s gentle with kiddos (again, hasn’t lived with them), does well in a secure, plastic crate, seems house trained, and walks pretty well on a leash. He can be a bit skeptical when meeting new people or being introduced to new things, but he’s quick to warm up. He also really enjoys the water (I know, it’s kinda strange for us, too) and does well in the car. He’s a petite young man, around 40 lbs. Although, once he’s filled out and finished growing he should even out around 50-55 lbs. Riggs spent a few months in a small, underfunded, shelter in Texas where he didn’t get the best of nutrition. He experiences some growing pains here and there but he’s getting stronger each and every day! A true husky lovers delight! Fenced in yard required. Riggs is being fostered in Laramie, Wyoming. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/riggs/.
