Story
Jack is a funny little fellow! He has benefitted from the companionship of other dogs, so if he isn't joining a multi-dog household then a few thoughtfully selected playmates he can spend time with would likely benefit him. Our walkers tell us that Jack is an exuberant boy who loves affection and may enjoy carrying a stick or perhaps a toy on his walks. He really enjoys being in the play yard where he can run around doing zoomies to his heart's content. Jack will only be placed in a home with children 10 years of age or older and without cats. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 65.625 Age: 3yrs 3mths 3wks

All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please do not contact EAPL  about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, information on history, vaccines, etc.  Please contact Diego 303-775-5084, please reach out to learn more about this sweet girl!  Meet Julie she is from a family member who could not care for her properly. Julie is approximately 4 years old and weighs 67lbs. She is 37.5% Siberian Husky, 25% Akita, 25% German Shepherd Dog, and 12.5% is designated to Herding, Hound, and Wild Canids. Julie lived most of her life with a small terrier mix friend of hers. They were in a garage with no interaction outside of feeding times so it was not the best situation for them. Julie is not the most confident and was not socialized but she is a very sweet girl. On top of Julie being lovable she is showing many signs of being trainable and wanting to please. She’s allowed me to bathe her and take toys/food away from her with no drama or concerning reactions. She is also doing pretty well on a leash, she will pull but not all the time. Unfortunately, she has proven to be aggressive towards my small dogs and has bit one of them before. She is correctable but always has to be watched around them. Julie knows how to sit and lay down on command and she even knows these commands in two languages (English and Spanish)! My girlfriend and I are happy to have rescued her from the situation she was in and would love to place her in a new home where she will be the only dog and the caretaker has the time to work with her. Julie went to our veterinarian and was given a clean bill of health and is now up to date on her rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines. She also behaved wonderfully at the vet! I have a few pictures of her but can certainly send more. My phone number is 303-775-5084, please reach out to learn more about this sweet girl!  December 2, 2024, 4:33 am

He is named Turk, because he has the most beautiful turquoise eyes that will melt you. Turk is 3 years old (DOB 01/18/2021) and is about 65 pounds of love. His DNA results show he is a Pitsky! Pitbull/Husky mix.  He is sweet, energetic yet a calm good goofball of a boy. He loves his crate but he loves kids more, he is amazing with them! Probably better with older kids because he forgets his size sometimes but really loves all kids.  He does great with other dogs and loves to play. NO cats! He is athletic and can jump a fence if left alone too long. He is great in the car and loves to be with his person. Such a sweet, sweet fella! Turk is current on all his vaccinations and is neutered. He is currently in a loving home in New Castle, CO, ready to meet his new family!  LuckyDayRescue.org  to apply December 28, 2024, 9:08 pm

Story
Going through a divorce and trying to care for Nyko and my baby is a struggle all by myself. Nyko is a very loving and loyal pet. He is very friendly and gets a ton of attention from everyone when we go out. He loves his walks and lives for snowy days! He is a great indoor pet and just relaxes all day. Even with his size, he does well in small homes and apartments. Outside he loves to play in the snow, play fetch, and play with any type of ball. He can not be off-leash unless enclosed in a backyard. He does not get along with other animals and will be aggressive. He’s friendly with people and will do best with a small family. Too many children or people in the family will make him anxious. His ideal owner is a single owner or couple who can physically take him on at least 2 walks per day.
