Story
Clifford is a 57lb, 3 yr old Siberian husky mix with flaming red hair and a happy-go-lucky spirit. This 3 year old matches his name and alter ego perfectly. He has a sweet smile. He walks on a leash calmly like a pro. Clifford isn’t super coordinated and is know for his clumsy play, where he occasionally falls awkwardly from the bench while he focuses enthusiastically on playing with his human and canine buddies.Clifford leads the YCAS acappella singers. He is ready when Straight no chaser needs a base singer. In the meantime, he is looking for an active family that will understand his need for exercise as a working breed. He loves to play and needs his cuddles for his day to be complete.Come and meet this storybook husky, he is waiting for his next adventure. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Nanook, a charming mixed breed with hints of Husky and Malamute, exudes love and affection despite uncertainties about his age and weight. This quiet yet snuggly companion is content with his own company and enjoys entertaining himself with toys. With a handsome appearance and a strong desire to please, Nanook eagerly lends a paw for any task, whether it's pulling a wagon, sled, or engaging in skijoring. He longs for a family to call his own, ready to exchange his volunteer services for endless love and companionship. As a working breed dog, Nanook thrives on mental and physical challenges, making him an ideal addition to an active household willing to provide him with the stimulation he needs to flourish. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
******** THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER******** THIS IS A COURTESY POST********CONTACT ZABIR SARWAR AT (530) 383-0350********** Ghost is a delightful ball of energy and affection, always ready to explore the world around him with his playful curiosity. Despite his name, he's anything but elusive! He loves to be in the company of humans and other dogs. Ghost's journey hasn't been without its challenges. Due to his owner's unforeseen medical conditions, they could no longer provide the care and attention Ghost deserves. Now, Ghost is seeking a loving home where he can thrive and continue spreading happiness. Ghost would thrive in a family environment where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime. A spacious yard where he can run around and explore would be ideal for this energetic pup. Adopting Ghost means welcoming a loyal and loving companion into your home. He's looking for a forever family who will cherish him and make him an integral part of their lives. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
Django is a 50lb, happy go lucky, super handsome 2-year-old Siberian husky. He is primarily grey and white with a beautiful party mask that he wears to show that he is ready to have some fun with his new family. Django is adoption ready: no separation anxiety, house trained, leash trained and couch cuddly. Django is a quiet calm husky but will alert you to oncoming fire trucks and ambulances with some quiet singing. If you are looking for a hiking, walking, cuddle buddy; Django is the dog for you. Django plays well with other mid-large dogs. I believe with a slow introduction, Django can coexist with a cat, although he was scared by one who jumped on him on a recent walk, Django can be redirected with a treat from birds, cats and squirrels.Like all working breeds, despite his calm demeanor overall, Django will do best in a home where he can get daily exercise and mental stimulation. Django is preloaded with his vaccinations, and a rabies shot and even a microchip. He is neutered and impatiently waiting at Yolo County animal shelter to join you on your next adventures. Story
Nila is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky with medium to high energy, who is social with people, very social with other dogs, and loves to play and walk. She recently impressed everyone at a meet-and-greet by being gentle with a small child and did amazing during an overnight stay with a volunteer, where she obeyed commands, handled bath time well, and was potty trained. Nila enjoys fetch, does well in a crate, and is easy to walk on a leash. She’s also great with voice commands and got along wonderfully with two other dogs in the volunteer’s home. While she shows interest in chickens and cats, she would benefit from patient training to adjust to them. Nila would do exceptionally well in a home with another playful dog. Story
I’ve had my husky JAX for 5 years now, loves to play with other dogs and is very chill. Loves attention and going out places! Doesn’t do bad when out, but also isnt a pro walker. Escapes every now and then but knows his way back home/ lets other people grab him to call me. Sad to see him go but I know he isn’t living his best life with me anymore. I just want him to go to a home where he gets all that he deserves!

Story
She’s 5 and dramatic. She loves head pats and occasional rough play. She’s ok with kids as long as they aren’t all over her. She came from the shelter and she seems to have bad history with other dogs. She gets very anxious if she sees other dogs too close so some good training would greatly help her. She’s great at alerting if someone is coming up to you or your door. Food wise, she can eat almost everything. For walks, she can go for a long time if you let her. Keeping her on a short leash works best unless there's no dogs around. She can sleep anywhere but she has her preferences. She loves to sprawl out on wood floors or next to a door. Or, she’ll curl up on a blanket or pillow. Vax: Up to date except: Leptospirosis (exp:10/18/24) Annual Heartworm Exam (exp:9/26/24) She has some attitude but she's just a big playful goof. Definitely great at cheering you up if you're sad too! She deserves a loving and fun home! She'd be your best friend and would love to adventure with you!
