Story
He is a good boy. His journey started on August 28th, 2022. If food is getting cooked or is brought in, expect Bruno to observe with great expectation and passion. He understands the meaning of the term sit, but can be very stubborn about sitting or being commanded, especially when told the word no. He knows to use the restroom on the training pad. When ready, he can play, and oh boy does he love to play a lot. Just remember to watch for his nails! He can get loud when he argues or barks, but is normally chill most of the day. He can take some getting used to strangers, but after a while he will be more accepting of them. Once given a routine to walk, he will both want and demand to go outside. He also loves the rain and cold. He tends to argue for bath time though. Sniffing is mandatory for Bruno. People, grass, aroma, you name it. Despite only being 2 years old, he is a big boy. Did I mention he likes treats? He even has a habit of digging...

Story
To apply or learn more, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/pumpkin Meet Perfect Pumpkin! This sweet girl is ready to fill your home with love and joy! Pumpkin is a smart, sweet, house-trained pup who adores people and gets along well with other dogs. She’s affectionate without being clingy—a perfect balance! Pumpkin’s Stats:     •    Age: Estimated to be 3 years old     •    Weight: 45-50 lbs     •    Spayed: Yes Why You'll Love Pumpkin: - Sweet & Gentle: She takes treats very gently and always has a wagging tail. - Smart Cookie: She loves learning and would thrive with fun enrichment activities. - Eager to Please: She’s always looking to you for guidance and is happiest when she knows she’s making you smile. - Adventure Buddy: She hops right into the car and enjoys rides—perfect for road trips! - House-Trained Pro: She quickly learned her potty routine and can hold it overnight and for several hours during the day. When You’re Away:     •    She might be a little sad when you leave, but she settles down quickly and is calm until you’re back.     •    No separation anxiety and zero destructive behavior—she’s a perfect angel! Pumpkin & Friends: - Kids: Possibly good with kids! She’s calm, gentle, and loves attention. - Dogs: She gets along with medium and large dogs and has done well with our 25 lb pup. She hasn’t met smaller dogs. - Cats: Unsure about cats; she’s pretty excited when she sees our cats through the baby gate. A slow introduction and plan to keep them safely separated at first is key if you have feline friends. A Few Things to Work On:     •    She pulls a little on walks but does much better with a harness.     •    When excited, she bounces happily (but not on people). We’re working on it, and she’s improving every day!     •    Bikes can make her a bit nervous on walks, but she’s learning they’re not so scary. Ready to Fall in Love? Pumpkin would be happy in a home with a yard or even an apartment if she gets plenty of walks and enrichment. She’s eager to meet her forever family and share a lifetime of snuggles, adventures, and unconditional love. $250 adoption donation includes spay, rabies, dhpp, bordatella and microchipped Interested in adopting? 1. Details

Story
She’s 5 and dramatic. She loves head pats and occasional rough play. She’s ok with kids as long as they aren’t all over her. She came from the shelter and she seems to have bad history with other dogs. She gets very anxious if she sees other dogs too close so some good training would greatly help her. She’s great at alerting if someone is coming up to you or your door. Food wise, she can eat almost everything. For walks, she can go for a long time if you let her. Keeping her on a short leash works best unless there's no dogs around. She can sleep anywhere but she has her preferences. She loves to sprawl out on wood floors or next to a door. Or, she’ll curl up on a blanket or pillow. Vax: Up to date except: Leptospirosis (exp:10/18/24) Annual Heartworm Exam (exp:9/26/24) She has some attitude but she's just a big playful goof. Definitely great at cheering you up if you're sad too! She deserves a loving and fun home! She'd be your best friend and would love to adventure with you!
