If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Ramen, a handsome Husky/Shepherd X in need of a new home as sadly my owner passed away. Our owner's mom tried to take care of me and my brother Udon, but she was too depressed. In addition her landlord threatened her with animal control if we stayed. You can tell us apart as my eyes are brown and Udon's left eye is brown and his right eye is blue.I'm active, get along with other dogs and children. My owner's family said I was good with cats, but I may chase them because I want to play. I love to be around my people, playing and exercising. My favorite things to do besides being around my people are snuggling and napping. I will need sturdy fencing as I can get over 4 foot fencing when I get bored/lonely. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Udon, a beautiful Husky/Shepherd X inside and out who is in need of a new home as sadly my owner passed away. My owner's mom tried to take care of me and my brother Ramen, but she was too depressed. In addition her landlord threatened her with animal control if we stayed. You can tell us apart as my left eye is brown and my right eye is blue, both Ramen's eyes are brown.I do great around people, children, other dogs and cats too. I was at a mobile where they had ducks, goats, sheep and horses. Although I was intrigued, I did not lunge or bark at them.I was fortunate to go to a home overnight during our evacuation from the surrounding fires. They called me a spectacular boy who was the perfect houseguest. I was gentle and calm the entire time I was there. I was curious but respectful and listened to whatever I was asked. In that home was a little dog and 2 cats. I was completely respectful of the little dog and the cats. We all hung out together and did great. When we were outside in the yard, one of the cats ran and I playfully gave chase, but it was clear to them I meant no harm, but they corrected me from doing that anyway. They also said I was house trained, no accidents. When asked, I gracefully and agreeably did the commands sit, paw, down and stay. They can't believe I haven't found my forever home yet.I take treats very gently, walk well on a leash and do well in a crate for car rides. I need sturdy fencing as I can get over a 4 foot fence when I get bored/lonely. My favorite things are being with my person, playing with toys, cuddling and getting belly rubs. A CARL volunteer describes my energy level as calm and confident. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.December 15, 2024, 8:29 pm

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Husky/Shepherd X DOB: 11/2018 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): white / charcoal Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Ruger, a handsome Husky / Shepherd X in need of a new home as sadly my owner can no longer care for me due to medical reasons and having to move to an assisted living facility. I'm grateful to CARL for accepting me into their adoption program. I know they will help me find my forever home. I enjoy being with people, going on walks or going to the dog park. I'm sweet, lovable and very active. I love to cuddle, receive belly rubs and I think I'm a lap dog. I need a home with no cats and with a fence at least 6 feet tall. I'm choosy with other dogs, so if you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I'm very food protective around other dogs, so we'd have to be fed separately. I've lived my life with a retired adult, but I am great with children and adults. I'm used to sleeping on the bed with my owner or on the sofa. Hopefully you'll allow me to do the same. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application to meet me.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Siberian Husky DOB: 12/2021 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): white / apricot Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Raya, a beautiful Siberian Husky who is in need of a new home as the dog already in the home does not want me around. I'm incredibly affectionate and loyal to my family with a lot of love to give. I'm a great companion to kids and other dogs, but cats are a no-go. I'm very people-oriented and will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time since I experience separation anxiety. I'm smart and very treat motivated, which should make training me a lot easier. I was working on crate training with my original owners, but I wasn't fond of it. With a little patience and positive reinforcement I know I can learn to be ok with it. I'm mostly a quiet pup who only gets vocal when left alone or cannot be near my people. If you're inside, I won't enjoy being left out in the backyard by myself or vise versa. I enjoy a good ride in the car and I'm always ready for an adventure - as long as it's with my people. I prefer sleeping with my people, so hopefully there is room for me on your bed. I walk well on leash as long as my pack stays together. If anyone gets ahead or lags behind I'll try to gather everyone back together. I'm a good-natured girl with a positive disposition, who's just looking for someone to give me and for me to give them lots of attention and love. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application to meet me.November 19, 2024, 11:05 pm

Breed: Chow DOB: 9/2016 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: medium Color(s): red/blond Description: Hi, I'm Paca, a shy, sweet Chow that was rescued after my owner passed away. My house sold quickly and was gated up. It's unknown if I escaped and couldn't be caught or someone turned me loose to fend for myself. Either way I was out on my own for two months in very hot weather. Thankfully someone down the street noticed me on my own and started giving me food/water daily. But even with her kindness, I wouldn't let anyone get too close to me. With the help of many people I was caught and now I'm waiting for my special someone to make me a part of their family. After being scared and on my own, my fur became matted and I needed to be shaved. As you can see my beautiful fur is already growing back. CARL volunteers are working on getting to know my likes/dislikes and helping me with leash training. I'm slowly learning to trust and come out of my shell. I love to be scratched on the head. I'm happy to explore my new world when I go out for my regular walking route. I have not been reactive to other dogs. I'm shy of strangers. A huge heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful people who helped rescue me and who donated towards my care.
