Story
He was found as a stray, and my friend wanted to adopt him. She later left him at my house and promised she would come back for him, then never came back. From what we could find out, Mooncake was neglected and abandoned by his previous owner. We had no record of his medical history when we took him in. We neutered and vaccinated him about two months ago. He has quite a bit of energy and loves belly rubs. He likes chewing on toys and playing fetch. He is an escape artist who can somehow open locked doors. He's very loveable, but also a bit mischievous. He usually doesn't like to sleep alone. He likes to scratch at someone's door until they let him in to sleep in their room. He sometimes sneakily sleeps on the be IMPORTANT: He has one bite on record. He typically has a friendly and playful temperament, but he once bit me on the scalp while I was trying to separate him from my sister's dog. The bite was not very deep, and I did not need stitches or any medical treatment.

Story
Max is extremely smart, playful, sweet, loving, and caring. Max will have to go to a special home, not just any home. We've had a few life events happen and sadly, this has changed him a bit. He will do great if there are no small children (gets nervous) or other pets because he can be a jealous pup, so it is best for him if you are able to give him 100% of your undivided attention and love. He is 50/50 with other dogs. He will either like them or he won't. Introducing him to other pets will be up to you. He also has a ton of energy, so hopefully you live in a house with a backyard for him to run around in because he loves to play fetch! He does not like loud noises (fireworks, construction, etc) or like to be left alone for too long because he got used to someone being home. He deserves to be with someone who is active and that can take him out to experience the world and new adventures.

Story
Ruka is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky that had been a part of our family since pup-hood. As Ruka got older, he began displaying food aggression towards our other dogs which led to fights and injuries. Due to this, it would be best for him to be a single-pet. Although Ruka had not displayed aggression towards people or children, we believe he would do best in either an adult or older children household. We cannot afford to go through behavioral training and know that it’s best for him to be rehomed for the safety of our other pets. He loves going on walks but does pull a lot until you get to a park where he sniffs everything he can. He loves playing fetch but doesn't always return the ball and instead wants to be chased. He likes being around family event mainly because he knows somebody is going to give him food. Be careful with rat poison, he's eated some before and finished it. He also loves the beach (not so much swimming but just running and splashing on the waves.

Story
My Nala is my best friend. She’s so energetic. She’s so sweet but the last couple months I’ve neglected her. I’ve been busy at work trying to maintain my household as my wife is now pregnant and we’re gonna have a beautiful child but that’s not Nala’s fault. I thought that I was able to multitask and also train her or keep her with the needs that she very well deserves, but I struggle to find time and my wife has to deal with a breed that needs a lot of attention and a lot of exercise. It’s not her fault. It’s mine. Nala is amazing when it comes to visitors, she loves people more than anything and all she wants to do is explore. She’s not aggressive in any way I’ve hardly ever heard her bark and that’s only coming to instance of maybe just a slight noise, but she’s never growl at me even when playing we’ve gotten the occasional talk with her, but she just wants your attention in your love.

Story
06/13/24 15:01From her foster `Shasta is a very special dog. She’s a spoiled princess who’s used to a life of luxury and lots of cuddles. She is 100% a lap dog and will cuddle you all day and night (literally will be in your lap or spooning you 24/7!). She loves being around people and showering them with love and kisses. She really hopes her new family has a yard that she can run around and play in. She prefers to be around her people, so she would love a retired or working from home family to be a part of. She plays very kindly with other dogs and the dog park is one of her favorite places in the world, so she would be great with a sibling! Shasta is a goofy yet beautiful girl who’s excited to come home with her forever family!`

Story
It breaks my heart to write this, but I need to find Mochi a new home. She's an 8-year-old Gerbarian Shepsky with a spirit full of energy and love, but due to some major changes in my life, I can no longer provide her with the active lifestyle she truly deserves. Mochi is a special soul. She's the perfect companion for daily walks and playful moments. She thrives when she's out and about, and her zest for life is contagious. But as much as I want to give her all the attention and activity she needs, my current circumstances no longer allow me to do that. I want her to find a family who can offer her the exercise and playtime she thrives on, someone who will appreciate her playful and calm energy and provide the love and attention she's always given me. If you are looking for a loving, chill companion and have the time and space for an active dog, Mochi could be the perfect fit for your home. She deserves to continue living a joyful life and I want nothing more than to see her loved.

All of our foster dogs are kept in individual homes.  Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio.Meet Aurora: A Sweet Survivor Ready for Love! Introducing Aurora, a beautiful blue-eyed Husky who has endured a tough past but is now ready to find her forever home. Aurora was rescued from a heartbreaking situation in Texas, where she was stuck in a small pen with two other huskies, deprived of food, water, and shade in the scorching heat. Despite the neglect she faced, Aurora’s spirit remains unbroken, and she is one of the sweetest and friendliest dogs you will ever meet. Aurora loves everyone she meets and has a special way of making you feel loved with her gentle nature. She enjoys being vocal, but her cute howls are more endearing than loud and repetitive. One of her favorite things to do is lean on you and give kisses, showing just how affectionate and grateful she is for any attention and love. On a leash, Aurora is pretty easygoing and prefers a leisurely pace over running. She’s not particularly into toys but finds joy in simple pleasures like walks and cuddles. When greeting new friends, she might jump a little out of excitement, but her enthusiasm is always sweet and never overwhelming. Aurora is looking for a loving home where she can be cherished and cared for. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who has so much love to give, Aurora is waiting to meet you. Story
She’s a whole person. She loves beef and will go bananas for salmon and cheese. She looooves the outdoors. Tongue and tail wagging all day long in the sun. She prefers to lounge outside in the yard, suns herself most of the day and then comes in to cool off. She a stickler for routine. Loves morning walks and as many walks as you’ll give her. She’s super curious and loves to chase and play. Not good with off leashing. She loves to play with other dogs but will tap out and step off on her own for some alone time. She loves playing with her owners once she’s bonded and gets to know them and enjoys one on one attention. Loves to come for some rubs and then step away, she likes to do things on her terms. Very husky type of husky! She loves to play hide and seek with you as well and to chase and be chased around. All around the most lovable doggie!
