Story
Meet Apollo! A total heartbreaker, this gorgeous boy is such a good dog. At 4 years old he is energetic and so happy. This boy plays fetch, brings the ball back and drops it! He loves to chase the ball. He is all fluff at only 65 lbs. Apollo loves ear scratches and leans into you when you pet him. He is dog friendly and loves to play, a friendly playful fursibling would be perfect for him. Or an active lifestyle would make this boy so happy. Apollo really is such a sweetheart, he listens great and was a dream to take out. He pulls a little from excitement but stops that quick once he is out, always good to remember these guys get out once a week if lucky so they are pent up. Come meet Apollo today!https://youtube.com/shorts/tlrWtgJLMC8?si=ThS--Y9ep_V-shnU*Apollo`s adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from a community member

Story
Birdo is a sweet boy who enjoys being pet and is treat-motivated. He already knows `sit` and while he zig zags a bit on leash, he doesn`t pull! He even checks in with you often. Those treats will make him easy to train. He also likes chasing toys, so he may be up for a good game of fetch in the future. He`s currently kenneled with another dog, so he will likely do well with another dog with proper introductions.

Meet Basmati! All we know about her story is a nice women found her and held onto her for as long as she could but she has a new born baby at home and was not able to continue fostering her. She did have a 3 and 6 year old at home at well and said Basmati did great with them! Basmati is also dog friendly! At only 9 months she is such a good puppy. She is very smart and so friendly. She loves to play, just running around or chasing toys. She was great on leash and takes treats very gently. She is a perfect petite husky at 46lbs. Basmati is looking for her furever home and will be such a great fur baby! Come say hi.

As a working breed dog, Nanook thrives on mental and physical challenges, making him an ideal addition to an active household willing to provide him with the stimulation he needs to flourish. ******** THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER******** THIS IS A COURTESY POST********CONTACT ZABIR SARWAR AT (530) 383-0350********** Ghost is a delightful ball of energy and affection, always ready to explore the world around him with his playful curiosity. Despite his name, he's anything but elusive! He loves to be in the company of humans and other dogs. Ghost's journey hasn't been without its challenges. Due to his owner's unforeseen medical conditions, they could no longer provide the care and attention Ghost deserves. Now, Ghost is seeking a loving home where he can thrive and continue spreading happiness. Ghost would thrive in a family environment where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime. A spacious yard where he can run around and explore would be ideal for this energetic pup. Adopting Ghost means welcoming a loyal and loving companion into your home. He's looking for a forever family who will cherish him and make him an integral part of their lives. Story
Django is a 50lb, happy go lucky, super handsome 2-year-old Siberian husky. He is primarily grey and white with a beautiful party mask that he wears to show that he is ready to have some fun with his new family. Django is adoption ready: no separation anxiety, house trained, leash trained and couch cuddly. Django is a quiet calm husky but will alert you to oncoming fire trucks and ambulances with some quiet singing. If you are looking for a hiking, walking, cuddle buddy; Django is the dog for you. Django plays well with other mid-large dogs. I believe with a slow introduction, Django can coexist with a cat, although he was scared by one who jumped on him on a recent walk, Django can be redirected with a treat from birds, cats and squirrels.Like all working breeds, despite his calm demeanor overall, Django will do best in a home where he can get daily exercise and mental stimulation. Django is preloaded with his vaccinations, and a rabies shot and even a microchip. He is neutered and impatiently waiting at Yolo County animal shelter to join you on your next adventures. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Nila is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky with medium to high energy, who is social with people, very social with other dogs, and loves to play and walk. She recently impressed everyone at a meet-and-greet by being gentle with a small child and did amazing during an overnight stay with a volunteer, where she obeyed commands, handled bath time well, and was potty trained. Nila enjoys fetch, does well in a crate, and is easy to walk on a leash. She’s also great with voice commands and got along wonderfully with two other dogs in the volunteer’s home. While she shows interest in chickens and cats, she would benefit from patient training to adjust to them. Nila would do exceptionally well in a home with another playful dog. Story
Nova came in with lots of extra fur and things that shouldn`t be in her fur, but now she`s all shaved up and feeling much better. She`s a sweet girl who loves to be pet, takes treats gently and walks well on leash. She`s learning `sit`. She`s paired with another dog at the shelter, so she may do well with another dog with proper introductions. She would love to sit with you inside with the AC and chill.Nova also went on a doggie day out adventure on 10/19, here is what my people had to say: `Enjoyed snuggles in the car and travelled well. Didn’t pull on the leash unless she saw a big dog. No barking or growling, she just wanted to go see them. We did not allow any doggie “hellos” but her behavior seemed more interested than anything else. She ignored all the little dogs barking at her. She was quiet at our patio breakfast, ignoring other dogs and eventually lay down. She enjoyed walking around parks and drinking lots of water. She was very calm when kids and adults pet her.`
