If youre looking for a cuddly, devoted, smart-as-a-whip dog, look no further. Winter came from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center in January, and right away I knew she was something special. When I brought her home we started training right away. She knows place, sit, and down and whips right into place when you ask her to. For feeding time we do some light training, put the bowl down, and she wont go until you give the release of Okay go! She has a fairly reliable recall, even in a large field, though I wouldnt take her off-leash hiking because she hasnt seen deer yet and loves to chase birds even into a lake. At home you can expect her to follow you around and give you lots of love and cuddles. If sitting on the couch shell curl up right next to you and if youre sitting on a chair, she will be lying right on your feet. She is very quiet for a husky and has a very good off-switch, able to relax for the day peacefully. She NEEDS to be an only dog.

****Courtesy post *** Meet our Chubster Jay! He was abandoned at a vets office in Riverside With his buddy Daisy the Bulldog. We would love for them to be adopted together. They are six years old and have been together their entire life. We would have loved to keep them together but apparently that is not going to happen. Jay is a husky who is a little bit on the ummm… hefty side. He sat in boarding for quite a while before a rescuer stepped up to help them and she asked for our help in placing them. He is sweet and loves to give adoring looks to whoever is petting him. He also has the moves like Jagger… Make sure you check out his video. Who would think a body his size could move like that These two darling dogs get along with other dogs and enjoy going for walks, fine dining and snuggling. Suki's mom was rescued off the streets and gave birth to her ten puppies in her rescuer's home. Suki is observant and cares a lot about her siblings always observing their comings and goings to be sure they are doing well. We recently had a fourth child who suddenly became allergic to our dogs’ fur and sneezes and develops rashes or hives from time to time and we didn’t realize it until he comes in close contact with our dogs. We’ve tried to post our dogs on Facebook pages for adoption but have been met with hateful comments and uninterested individuals. We’ve been trying to re-home our dog for nearly a year and do not want him to be put down, so we’ve tried different ways in separating our pets from our kids but it hasn’t been successful all the time. We’d like to keep Koa but with this going on, it’s hard to manage with my kids’ and dog’s needs. We just hope he goes to a loving home. He’s very playful, not shy and knows various commands such as sit, stay, wait & paw. He loves to cuddle but it’s so hard to let that happen with a child whose allergies are affected by his fur.
