Story
FOSTER CARE! Hi, I'm Thor! I'm a 1 year 11 month old, neutered male, Siberian Husky mix and I weigh 51 pounds. Have you ever wished for a dog with the personality of a cat? Well if you have, I'm your wish come true! I'm a sweet and playful boy but I'm not as vocal as most huskies! I like to take my time getting to know new people. Once I'm super comfortable, I love to run zoomies, play with toys and even jump into water! I love going on adventures but I also enjoy lounging on the couch! I have good car manners and I'm getting better with my leash manners. I can't help investigating when birds or squirrels run by. My ideal home would be with someone who is ready for a sweet, energetic pup and will take the time to help me overcome my shyness. Since I'm easily overwhelmed, I prefer a quiet but active home. I promise to be your best buddy, once I get to know you.  Thor ID# A938350 Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing behavior@phs-spca.org You may also submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. FOSTER CARE! SEE ME AT SMILING DOGS!   Hello World! My name is Halle, I'm a 2-year-old, 40lbs, spayed female Siberian Husky who is ready play! I'm a joyful bundle of energy that can't help but bring a smile to your face with my silly antics. As you can see from my beautiful picture, I only have one eye but that doesn't stop me from leaping and bouncing all about. I would love to go home with a family that has experience with Nordic breeds like me and likes an fun, affectionate but independent lady. I LOVE playing with other dogs, but I have been known to get too rambunctious when I play which might be overwhelming for some dogs. Although I am as sweet at can be, my overall excitable nature can also bee too much for small kids. To make sure we are a match made in heaven, please be sure to introduce me to the entire household any resident dogs before I officially join your family. I can’t wait meet you! Halle ID# A940619  I recently went on a field trip with one of my favorite volunteers! Here's what they had to say: 'We went on a hike in Pacifica. She was easy to gear and really great in the car. There were lots of smells/birds/squirrels to keep her busy! She was friendly and curious towards all the people and dogs we passed on the trail. She’s an excellent hiking buddy! Story
Hi there! My name is Bisquick and I'm a 1-year-old, spayed husky that currently weighs about 50lbs. I'm a total sweetheart that still has some puppy energy. I can be a little timid at first, but once I'm out and about, I'm very affectionate and enjoy playtime! I've been working on my leash skills and the volunteers have told me I've made great strides. Now that my confidence is growing, more of my silly Husky personality has come out to shine! I'm hoping for a family with kids 10 and older that will continue my training/socialization, give me tons of playtime, and spoil me like the princess I am! Story
FOSTER CARE! Hello friends! My name is Birch, and I'm a 1-year-old, neutered Husky mix that weighs about 48lbs. I'm a sweet and curious boy who adores people and other dogs--my foster parents say I'm 'magical' and 'a lean, goofy love bug.' I love going for walks, and I have perfect leash manners. I'm doing great living with my husky foster sister, so if you have a resident dog, I'd like to meet them. If you're ready for an adorable walking buddy and a best friend who leans in for hugs, ask about Birch ID#A947428.   My foster family thinks I'm wonderful! Here's what they say about me:    Birch is magical! A lean, goofy love bug who seemingly gets along with all people and all dogs. Walks great on leash -- no pulling! He loves his walkies. House trained and (more or less) crate trained. Joyful and playful, but also will sit quietly and rest if you can't pay him attention. He likes to lean in for hugs. He likes to sit at the window and watch the neighborhood dogs go by on their walks -- he doesn't make a peep. He will occasionally steal the odd shoe or piece of paper, but will drop it immediately when you tell him to. He has a huge heart and someone will be SO lucky to get this guy. Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. Awoooo, I'm Dee! I'm a four-month old, spayed female, Siberian Husky mix puppy! I am loud and in charge! I'm also affectionate, silly, and energetic. I will grow up to be large dog (anywhere between 60lbs. to 70lbs.). I would do best in an active home with someone who is familiar with northern breeds, and is ready to provide lots of exercise, training, socialization, and love! I can't wait to find my furver home with folks ready for adventure! Dee ID# A955588 Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
This gorgeous Husky boy is ready to be your new best friend! Hiro is looking for a new home because his current guardians can no longer care for him. He is very loved and looked after. This sweet guy is only about 3 and a half years young and weighs in at about 50lbs. He gets along with small female dogs and is best as a solo dog. He would best thrive placement in a home not with another male dog due to his lack of confidence. But people are where Hiro really shines. He'd love a home where he can soak in plenty of love with his humans, joining you for outings as well as cuddle time. Hiro would do best in a home free of kitties due to his excitement in small critters. Hiro is crate trained and settles in well when left home alone- no destruction or anxiety here! Are you ready for Hiro to join you on your next adventure? Hiro is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, house trained, knows basic commands. He is a very sweet dog. He knows commands to sit, down, stays, gives paw, potty outside, and loves praises. She loves meeting new people. If you are interested in learning more about Hiro, please contact Veronica at by email at Princess_vw@yahoo.com
