Story
Hi there! My name is Bisquick and I'm a 1-year-old, spayed husky that currently weighs about 50lbs. I'm a total sweetheart that still has some puppy energy. I can be a little timid at first, but once I'm out and about, I'm very affectionate and enjoy playtime! I've been working on my leash skills and the volunteers have told me I've made great strides. Now that my confidence is growing, more of my silly Husky personality has come out to shine! I'm hoping for a family with kids 10 and older that will continue my training/socialization, give me tons of playtime, and spoil me like the princess I am! Bisquick ID# A947429 I got to spend the day in a staff members office and this is what they had to say: Bisquick was so well behaved in the office! We first went to the yard where she had lots of zoomies. She was a bit nervous at first and was panting some but after some sniffing, exploring, and a bully-stick she settled in. She was very patient when I had to gear her for walks and didn't have any accidents inside. Bisquick is truly a sweet and sensitive girl and I would let her visit me again any day!  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Hey there, I'm Luca! I'm a 3 year old, 48 lbs., neutered male Siberian Husky mix. I'm a confident fella that enjoys getting out an about in the world and going on hikes and snifari's. A favorite pastime of mine is of course running lots and lots of zoomies in the yard. You want nonstop energy, well here I am! I'm a tiny bit scatterbrained but when I focus, I know 'sit', 'down' and 'shake'. I hope I get to meet you soon! Story
Sunny is a dream dog. Sweet, intelligent, loving, and fun. She’s small…about 35 lbs. Everyone who meets her adores her. We are not sure of the breed, but she’s the size of a cattle dog with the tail of a husky....and we see golden retriever in her too. She is not aloof like a husky can be, she loves doting on her owner, and like a cattle dog, she always wants to sit right next to you. She's very sweet and easy. Sunny is about 1 year old, very responsive when called. She has perfect recall at the dog park. She is playful and fun and she’s a great hiker and walker. She is picks up training commands quickly and she loves playing fetch, chewing on bones and playing with toys. She likes all dogs so a home with another dog to wrestle and play with are fine with her. She’s good with kids too. At a petite 35lbs, Sunny is ready to explore the world by your side. She sleeps soundly in her crate throughout the night and likes to be in a room where she can see you. She's eager to please and sits calmly next to her foster mom while she works. Sunny was abandoned and left alone to fend for herself. We fell in love with her and contacted a rescue to help us find her a home. Like most young dogs, Sunny needs training, exercise, and love to make her a great K9 citizen. If you are a hiker, she would be the best companion! Sunny is spayed and up to date with vaccines, and flea treatments. Sunny is in San Francisco. If you are ready to adopt, email us for an application. Questions? Email us at: redding5765@gmail.com or call at 415-279-0119 You will love her. We think she's the best dog in the world.

Story
This gorgeous Husky boy is ready to be your new best friend! Hiro is looking for a new home because his current guardians can no longer care for him. He is very loved and looked after. This sweet guy is only about 3 and a half years young and weighs in at about 50lbs. He gets along with small female dogs and is best as a solo dog. He would best thrive placement in a home not with another male dog due to his lack of confidence. But people are where Hiro really shines. He'd love a home where he can soak in plenty of love with his humans, joining you for outings as well as cuddle time. Hiro would do best in a home free of kitties due to his excitement in small critters. Hiro is crate trained and settles in well when left home alone- no destruction or anxiety here! Are you ready for Hiro to join you on your next adventure? Hiro is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, house trained, knows basic commands. He is a very sweet dog. He knows commands to sit, down, stays, gives paw, potty outside, and loves praises. She loves meeting new people. If you are interested in learning more about Hiro, please contact Veronica at by email at Princess_vw@yahoo.com

Story
Appa is a loving Siberian Husky. He just celebrated his second birthday in July. I purchased Appa from a litter in August of 2022. His mom and dad were show dogs, and his siblings all look just like him. It breaks my heart to have to rehome Appa, but at the age of 24 with all of the working and traveling I do, Appa does not get the attention he needs. I just moved into a small one bedroom apartment in SF and spend 8+ hours away each day. When I get home, i'm exhausted and poor Appa just wants to run around. He deserves a home where he can do that throughout the day in a backyard or just someone who works from home and can give hime the attention he needs. I am also constantly traveling, and have spent thousands of dollars boarding him that I can no longer afford. He is such a good boy- just a bratty personality like all huskies. I'm hoping I can rehome him local in the Bay Area so I can still visit him from time to time. I love you Appa. Adoption includes large dog crate and leash.

Story
Arlo is a big, energetic boy who loves car rides, outdoor adventures (camping, hiking, walking, swimming), and being around his humans. He loves to walk around parks, say hi to new adults, and find gophers to sniff out and try to catch. He's beyond adorable and can be very loving and sweet to both his own humans and new people, but he also has resource guarding issues so managing that and being aware of his body language is extremely important. He’s a high energy dog who needs multiple walks and boundaries in and outside the home to manage his dog reactivity and resource guarding. He currently lives in an apartment in the city and would do much better in a larger home with a fenced- in yard or some type outdoor space. He’d do great in an active home, with no children or other animals, who can be outside with him and has time to manage his behaviors. He's strong, fast, super smart and such a fast learner - he has a lot of potential in the right environment and home.
