Story
Smokey was found as a stray. He went through 8 weeks of training and knows all basic commands. He loves humans, enjoys car rides, and can walk off-leash. He does not dig and he is crate-trained. Smokey does not bark unnecessarily but does have a vocal Husky attitude. He is a great cuddler and will follow his humans around like a shadow. He has never once, in the year we have had him, gone to the bathroom in the house. Smokey weighs 92 pounds but is great with dogs of all sizes. We have not had a problem with him and our cat, but he does demonstrate a strong prey drive so we would not recommend him around pet bunnies, birds, or nervous/timid/elderly cats. He is also good with children as far as we know. Without proper guidance, he can revert to resource guarding and due to his time as a stray, he has food insecurity. If you give him the love and attention he deserves, Smokey will be the most wonderful dog and bring his future family much love and joy.

Story
Courtesy post please email jjwoofinpaws@gmail.com to apply Hello, I’m Lupin! I’m a 1 1/2 year-old, red and white male Siberian Husky who loves everyone! I was rescued from a high kill shelter just hours before I was to be killed! My foster mom says I am the goodest boi and I’ve learned so much in the 2+ months I’ve been with my foster family. I am a typical husky and I need walks and exercise to be happy. I am great with small humans, big humans and dogs. I love to play, but even though I’m big, I’m a very submissive boy, so no super dominant/aggressive siblings please. I love playing with my 22lb foster fur-brother. I’m not allowed to be around cats though because I like to chase them. I’d do best in a home with a secure yard and a family who is active with kids over 7/8 years old. And I’d love a sibling to play with! My foster mom got me neutered and I am healthy, micro chipped, vaccinated and ready for my furever home! Could that be you?
