Story
Hi, meet our gorgeous boy Krispy, around 3-4 yrs old. He's a sweet bi-eyed beauty with a creamy white coat with a toasted marshmallow back. He loves his walks and treats and ready to melt your heart with his cute playful personality. He's dog friendly with dogs his size but hasn't been tested with small dogs or cats. He needs a foster or adopter so he can get the love and stability he justly deserves. Krispy can be very affectionate, snuggly and full of kisses once he warms up to you, but he does need a bit time to warm up to new people. He is a big boy, around 60-65 lbs, can easily knock over small kids by accident, so he is more suitable for an adult only home or a family with older kids (middle school or older). Please step up for Krispy and get your application in ASAP. He's neutered, vaccinated and chipped so he just needs you! Currently being cared in Portland, Oregon.

Story
Meet "Dude". He's I don't know Dude's true name or origins or anything about him, so he's starting off fresh. I think he's around 3 years old and he's a playful dude, he is gentle and loves to be scratched from between my legs, he enjoys touch and smiles HUGE when you rub his back. He can walk nicely on a leash and knows how to sit. He doesn't mark and has nice house manners. He is playful and goofy, and has a great temperament. enjoys nice food but isn't a chow hound. Fine with kids, but does think small animals like chickens and cats are interesting. Dude comes with a pretty cool collar from Corso Paws and a bag of food. I'll throw in a bag of "Maev" and a flat of his favorite canned food. He is fixed, up to date and ready to be loved.

Meet Bobby! Bobby is about 14 mos old (a/o 3.28.24 - DOB 1.24.23) and weighs about 55lbs. He is fully vaccinated, has been neutered and microchipped. Bobby is crate trained, potty trained and knows some basic obedience cues. Bobby is a pitbull/husky mix. He has been in a foster home with multiple dogs and children and seems to enjoy their company. Bobby can be a bit timid when meeting new people and takes a little longer than his brother Ricky to warm up but he’s the sweetest boy, and once you're in his "Circle of Friends" you're a friend for life! Bobby would thrive with an active lifestyle. He will do best with a family that will consider him a true member of the family and let him participate in the family activities. Last summer, when the wading pools were put out and filled, guess what happened? We've discovered that Bobby loves the water! Sooooo, if you're looking for a water-loving mutt, look no further. Our Bobby fits the bill! Bobby is not a SacRDR rescue dog. He is being fostered by one of our volunteers, who is a vet tech in the process of starting her own rescue. We fully back her and her dogs. We have collaborated on rehoming several dogs with her and the dogs are stable grounded animals. Think you can provide Bobby the life he deserves? Interested in meeting Bobby? Let us know! Send an email to Brittrad03@aol.com and someone will get back with you as quickly as possible.

He has been in a foster home with multiple dogs and children and seems to enjoy their company. Ricky can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and will give you the best snuggles. Ricky adores other dogs and would do best in a home with another canine companion to pal around with! We also think he'd do okay with a feline friend with slow intros and supervision. Ricky is crate trained and knows how to relax while crated. He is also potty trained in his foster home, but will need some gentle guidance on the proper place to do his "business" in his new home. Ricky is not a SacRDR rescue dog. He is being fostered by one of our volunteers, who is a vet tech in the process of starting her own rescue. We fully back her and her dogs. Story
Shayba is a beautiful husky x looking for her special home. Her estimated bday is around 1/2021. She came to us at the end of 2021 and had a lump near her ankle. After testing, it is thought not to be cancerous and it hasn't grown in the year+ that we have had her. Her ankle doesn't slow this happy girl down...and Shayna is ready to find a home of her own. Here's what her fostermom has to say about this fun girl: Shayna is THE life of the party. Whether it is dogs or people she is ready to play. In her foster home she was assigned the role of teaching timid dogs how to party and has a 100 percent success rate at getting even the most shutdown dogs to enjoy life. Despite her ruff start found with mange walking the streets of Bakersfield, she looks at every person and place with love and an adventurous spirit. He coat has grown back nicely and her two different colored eyes get lots of attention. When Shayna is not playing with people or dogs she makes an excellent snuggle buddy and is happy to lay around with her crew. Or have a nice conversation, which led to her nickname “Roo Roo.” Shayna has a husky voice and will talk to you by “roo rooo roooing” which is hilarious and cute. Along with conversations she will let you know when it is breakfast or dinner time. Shayna is house trained, dog door trained, crate trained, and loves toys and play. If you would like to have a chat with Roo Roo please contact SIAR! Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$450 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority.
