Story
Jay came into our care in June of 2023 as a stray from Brawley Animal Control. When Jay was brought in, he was very clean and of a healthy weight. We quickly learned he knew some basic commands and we were certain someone was looking for him, but sadly they were not. In the year and a half he has been in the kennels he has been housed with several other dogs and he has done great with all of them! Jay also does well on a leash, he loves scratches on his face and behind his ears, and he loves to play. He’s a very curious guy and he loves to explore new places.     Jay does have a healthy energy level, so we feel Jay would do well in a home where he has a brother or sister to run and play with. A year and a half is far too long for this handsome husky to have been kenneled. Our paws are crossed that our Holiday Huskies adoption event finally brings Jay the big break he deserves!  Jay came into our care in June of 2023 as a stray from Brawley Animal Control. Story
Sweeny came into our care in mid-September of this year from El Centro Animal Control. The Animal Control Officer told us that they had picked her up several times before, but this last time she was not claimed by her owner. During the three months Sweeny has been in our care we have learned that she has a calm and sweet demeanor. Although she is a Husky and she does get along with other dogs, we have noticed that she prefers to be around other dogs that match temperament. Sweeny also does very well on a leash, and she loves to be around people and craves love and attention from them.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 8, 2025, 9:55 pm
