Story
Twiggy is a young, spayed Husky mix, likely with some Australian Cattle Dog, who was rescued from the Moreno Valley Shelter. She has a fun-loving, playful personality and gets along great with all the other foster dogs in her home. Twiggy loves to run around and wrestle, always in a friendly way, showing no signs of aggression. She would thrive in a home with at least one friendly, playful dog (or multiple friendly dogs). Twiggy adores affection—she’ll happily roll over for belly rubs and scratches. With her soft fur and sweet demeanor, her foster family finds her an absolute joy to have around.

Story
Hi, My name is Snow! If you like to be serenaded then I am your guy! I am one of the cutest huskies you will ever meet. I am about 2 years old and weigh 45 lbs. I've been told that I am sweet, affectionate, playful, rambunctious, very good natured, extremely smart, silly and curious. I love to play with other dogs and sing to anyone that will listen. I'm not sure what cats are so I can't promise that I won't chase them since I am a husky. I recently went through board and train. My foster parents say I am VERY good motivated and I respond well to positive reinforcement. I am doing great with house training too. I would love a very secure yard so I can run around and play, you know us huskies are good escape artists! I also like to go on walks/hikes so would enjoy an active lifestyle. I am eager to please, but can be excitable and forget my manners sometimes. So, I need an owner that will continue working with me so I can be the best dog! I am a little shy around strangers, especially men, but I usually warm up after 5-10 minutes. I love to be around my human and I promise I will follow you everywhere and we will become the best of friends. If you are in love with me already, have the time to spend with me and want to make me a part of your family, please fill out our K9 adoption application on our website. mountainshumanesociety.org

Story
Kai was born 5/7/2023 and we acquired him as a puppy from a private party when he was 6 weeks old. We raised Kai in a home with 2/3 acre to run around and play with our other dog Leo who also has a profile here. My husband lost his job and we had to move from our home of 22 yrs into a mobile home park with no backyard. Kai is very strong and is very active. I am disabled and unable to walk him or provide the activity level he needs and deserves. Unfortunately, we can no longer provide the type of home and attention Kai requires. I would describe Kai as very personable and vocal when he wants attention. He is a playful, loving and friendly, although he has not had much interaction with other dogs, cats (we do have a cat in the home that he grew up with and loves chasing!) or children. Kai is leash trained, neutered and chipped.

Story
Turkey was found abandoned without a collar, tag, or chip. He immediately began to warm up to us the moment we found him, he loves cuddling and attention. He’s been wonderful to have but we don’t have the time to give him the attention and time he needs especially coming off the streets. We’re looking for someone who can give him lots of walks and attention and will love him because he’s been such a sweetheart. We haven’t heard him bark however he whines when hes left alone for too long, however he’s young and so far has been a very fast learner. Please reach out!
