Story
Barbara spent two long months in the shelter before finding her way to Southpaw Rescue. Just a year old, this gentle soul is wonderfully social with other dogs but still learning to trust people. It's clear she hasn’t had much kindness from humans in her short life—she watches from a distance, quietly longing for love, but too shy to ask for it. Despite her timid nature, there's a spark in Barbara that says she's ready to blossom with the right person. She needs a patient, compassionate adopter who can help her feel safe and show her that love isn’t something to be afraid of. Barbara is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to begin her journey home with someone who believes in second chances. Story
Stoli and her bestie Chatka came to live with us their owner recovered from a knee replacement. Unfortunately, their owner did not recover and she passed away. These senior girls are incredibly easy dogs that get along with dogs of all sizes. Their owner regularly took them to socialize at a dog park and never had any issues. They do have the husky prey drive and cannot live with any cats (which is why we cannot keep them). Chatka had cancer in one eye many years ago and had the eye removed. She has been healthy ever since. Stoli and Chatka are simple girls that need a safe place to live out their final days. They are both approximately 13 years old and were rescued from a local shelter at a young age. They are low maintenance and sweet, mellow ladies.

Story
Kano is a beautiful Siberian Husky who loves affection and has a playful spirit. He is very protective of his family. He thrives on attention and care. He has an energetic personality, but also a calm, cool, and collected side. Kano loves to play, run around outside, and walk around the neighborhood. Sometimes he likes to goof around in the yard or just lay out in the sun. He’s the happiest when he’s with his people, soaking up affection and being part of the pack. We're sad to say goodbye, but with a big move ahead and a newborn on the way, we’ve realized we won’t have the space or time that Kano truly deserves. We want him to have a home where he can be surrounded with love, patience, and companionship. If you’re looking for a devoted friend who will keep you company with his loving personality and playful energy, Kano might just be the perfect addition to your family. Please reach out if you’d like to meet him or learn more. He’s eager to meet his new family!
