Story
Meet Artic! We should have named her Perfect! This 1.5yr old husky girl is a dream dog. Besides her classic beautiful looks and gorgeous blue eyes, she is the sweetest to every person, child, dog and is even good with her fosters parrot. For a young girl, she's very calm, chill and kind and loves to sit by your side and just appreciate her happy life. She was once abandoned on the streets, pregnant and had her puppies and all of them ended up at a high kill shelter. Alljoy4paws rescued her and her pups right before being euthanized. This amazing girl will light up your life and be your best friend. She's potty trained, loves toys and treats and has a gentle play style and a very submissive personality. She's been spayed, vaccinated and chipped and she's waiting for you! Email us your application ASAP! Currently being fostered in Bakersfield area.

Story
Meet sweet Simba who was listed in the shelter at 6yrs old but we think he might be a little older, around 7-8. He's a very kind soul that just wants love and attention. He loves to be pet, seems a little chunky with curse coat and looks like he just didn't have a caring owner. He would make a great companion and possibly an easy couch potato doggie as well. He really touched our hearts and had to save him off of the euthanasia list. He's very people friendly and dog friendly so he'd be an easy addition to your pack. He deserves to be spoiled with walks and love and he's great on a leash. We're still learning about him but he needs a foster home or adoptive home, please open your heart and home for our handsome Simba boy!

Story
Sex: Male Breed: Husky xEstimated Date of Birth : 10/16/2022Handsome and fun Hansel hopes if you’re looking that he’ll be the one! He’s active and sweet and loves everyone he meets. He’s got striking good looks to go with his enthusiastic personality add his golden eyes are sure to charm you. He’d love nothing more than a family willing to commit to him for a lifetime. Sadly Hansel and his sister Gretel came to us as unwanted dogs. Both tied unceremoniously to the sign at our rescue ranch’s entrance after hours. They were lucky they didn’t break free, get hit by a car or get eaten by wildlife. We can’t imagine how scared they must have been or how betrayed they must have felt being dumped in such a heartless fashion. We’ve committed ourselves to ensuring both Hansel and his sister never experience something like that again. Hansel is definitely the more outgoing of the two and is working on his leash manners. Neither were exposed to much before their time in our care but we’re making up for lost time and socializing them with the sights and sounds of life. They’re young and lapping it all up. Our ranches wide open spaces allow for lots of socialization and playtime opportunities and Hansel loves all the play and running around with his sister. He and his sister are adoption ready and we can’t wait to find them the perfect homes. They aren’t bonded but do enjoy each others company so homes together or separately would work equally well. If you’ve been looking we hope one of these sweet pups is the perfect fit for you! If you are interested in adopting a Marley's Mutts please fill out an application at http://marleysmutts.org/adoptionprocess/

Story
Sex: FemaleBreed: Husky xEstimated Date of Birth : 10/16/2022Are you looking for cute, bubbly and fun? Then sweet Gretel is definitely the one! She’s an adorable ball of enthusiasm and loves playtime just as much as she loves every once of affection people bring. She wears a permanent smile on her face and would love nothing more than a family willing to commit to her for a lifetime. We want to make that happen so this sweet girl is headed into Pawsitive Change at Tehachapi State Prison! Sadly Gretel and her brother Hansel came to us as unwanted dogs. We’ve committed ourselves to ensuring both Gretel and her brother never experience something like that again. Our ranches wide open spaces allow for lots of socialization and playtime opportunities and Gretel loves all the play and running around. Pawsitive Change will give her another opportunity to learn and grow. She’ll spend the next 3 months learning all she can and once she’s completed the program she’ll be adoption ready. We can’t wait to find her the perfect home! If you are interested in adopting a Marley's Mutts please fill out an application at http://marleysmutts.org/adoptionprocess/

Story
Sex: FemaleBreed: Siberian HuskyEstimated Date of Birth : 02/28/2021Looking for a Husky but really need a more mellow energy? Well you’ve come to the right place. Meet Chika! This gorgeous girl isn’t your average hyper-active husky. She’s got an easy going energy you’re going to love and that chill energy makes her the perfect fit for a more relaxed household. It’s not often we say mellow and husky in the same sentence but Chika definitely fits the bill. If you’re looking for affectionate as well then Chika also has that covered. She loves everything about spending time with people and wants nothing more than to spend her time with you! Chika, like so many huskies, was found wandering and was picked up as a stray. She waited at the shelter for a month hoping her family would claim her but sadly they never came. She was faced with the very real possibility of not making it out of the shelter alive. Our public shelters are inundated with huskies so poor Chika just didn’t stand out. But we noticed her and when one of our amazing foster homes said yes Chika got the break she despaired needed. Chika has never looked back and quickly settled into the routine in her foster home. Shes crate trained and good on leash. Shes been fine with the other dogs she’s met but doesn’t really engage with them much preferring the company of the humans in the home. Shes a sweet girl with that fabulous low key energy level and shes ready to meet you! If you’ve been wanting those husky looks without the activity requirements Chika is definitely the girl you’ve been looking for!
