Hiya folks. My name is SHADE and here is a little info about me:Breed: Husky mixAge: 3 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 60 lbsHeight tbdHighlights: very intelligent, friendly, sweet, loyal Smart, smart, very smart, really smart, super smart, smart smart... did I get enough in? Did you catch the hint, I am a very smart guy. Bet I coulld take on most any challenge you present.Found hiding under a car in one of the most dangerous parts in Lebanon, I was really scared. Kids were throwing rocks at me. My rescuers spoke with people in the area and nobody knows how I got there. They were told anytime I came too close to a house, I would get shot at to scare me off. I'm lucky to have escaped with my life. Thanks to my rescuers who couldn't think of leaving me.My rescuers took me to a foster home, as it is just not safe being on the streets in my country... if you are a dog anyway.Turns out, I am a really friendly guy. Sweet and loyal to the core. I look forward to showing off my aptitude for learning things. Maybe we could do some dog sports or trick stuff.Hoping for a home who can engage my brain power. Some outdoor fun and some indoor skills, not to mention nap time. A boy has to keep his brain in tip top shape, ya know. Waiting for your call. Energy level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: unknown, rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: some leash workLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: no. Please help me learn. I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1795706##

Story
Hi all, my name is Silas. I am a very loving four year old, male, husky mix who needs a new home. My family adores me, but I am not doing well with the new toddler in my family. Loud noises and fast movements are upsetting for me. So my family is making the painful decision to find me a child free home.  I am very good with other dogs and I adore cats. I would LOVE to share my new home with one of those fascinating creatures. Once I am comfortable with you I am very cuddly. I love to get belly rubs and to snuggle. You will love how well behaved I am. I am great on the leash, and have no food or toy aggression.  If you are looking for a dog to play and snuggle with who will keep you smiling, I am your boy. I am neutered and vaccinated. My adoption fee is $800 Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. Story
Hello, my name is Moose, here’s a little info about me: Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback and Siberian Husky mix Age: 3 years old Gender: Male Weight: 106 Ibs Height: 64 cm (25 Inches) Highlight(s): mellow, loving, and a real cuddly guy I am a rare beauty, a unique mix of part Rhodesian Ridgeback and part Siberian Husky, with lovely tan colouring.   Despite my size, I truly believe I am a lap dog and am happiest when snuggling with my family. I am a very handsome boy and like to maintain my beautiful coat with lots of brushing (don’t forget to tell me I am a beautiful boy in the process!) Sometimes if I think my human missed a spot I will gently chat and tell them so. It's clear to all that I am relatively low energy but am great around other dogs, cats, and children. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of the rain (but who is?!) and may need some encouragement to venture out into the wet for bathroom breaks. As you can probably tell I am a well natured and faithful companion who just wants to hang out with you wherever you go.  House trained, and not much of a barker, will occasionally talk, when sharing my opinion! I am an unaltered male. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Story
Hi there, I'm Sid! I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself in hopes of finding my perfect match through adoption or foster-to-adopt. Are you ready to embark on a whirlwind adventure with me? First things first, let me introduce myself. I'm not your ordinary husky – I'm a charismatic and quirky character bursting with personality and charm. With my playful antics and endearing quirks, I guarantee I'll keep you entertained and laughing with my dramatic husky antics. One of my favorite things in the world is making new friends, both human and furry. I'm a social butterfly who gets along famously with well-matched dogs, and I'm currently living harmoniously with Angela, another one of our adoptable pups. We make quite the dynamic duo, if I do say so myself! When it comes to outdoor adventures, count me in! I'm not just a hilarious companion, but also an ideal outdoor partner. I love joining in on any adventure and I'm particularly fond of the water – whether it's a pool, lake, or ocean, you can bet I'll be making a splash! Now, let's talk about the nitty-gritty stuff. Collar sensitivity and resource guarding? Non-issues for me! I'm more than happy to share my toys and space with both humans and furry friends alike. But here's where I could use some support. My boundless energy and spirited nature mean I thrive in an environment that can keep up with my need for both mental stimulation and physical exercise. While I'm a lover of all things big and boisterous, I'm not the best match for small dogs or animals due to my prey drive. That's why I'll need a home that can provide me with undivided attention and doesn't have any small pets. An experienced owner who can help me refine my manners, including leash training, curbing marking behaviors, and mastering basic commands like sit, stay, and come, would be just what I need to thrive. So, if you're ready to welcome a lovable husky like me into your heart and home, then look no further! Contact us today to learn more about how you can make me a cherished member of your family. Don't miss out on the chance to embark on this adventure with me – I promise it'll be one for the books!

Story
Introducing Penny and Pepper, the dynamic duo still seeking their forever home or foster-to-adopt family! 🐾 Positives: Penny and Pepper are an irresistible pair of Siberian Huskies, overflowing with charm and energy. Their infectious enthusiasm for life is matched only by their boundless affection for humans. With their playful antics and loving nature, they'll quickly steal your heart. Pepper, the sociable pup, has a knack for making friends with other dogs, while both Penny and Pepper adore spending time outdoors, exploring and soaking up the sunshine. Their ideal home would be one with a fenced yard, where they can romp and play to their heart's content alongside a family that shares their love for outdoor adventures and an active lifestyle. Plus, having two furry companions means double the fun and endless entertainment! Things they need support on: While Penny and Pepper thrive on love and activity, they also require a patient and understanding home that can provide them with the time and space to decompress and adjust. Basic training and structure are essential for their well-being, and they'll benefit greatly from mental stimulation to keep their clever minds engaged. It's important to note that Penny has a preference for being the only canine in the household, so a home where they can be the sole focus of attention is ideal.
