How does this sweet and smart little pup not have a home yet?! Sylvie is an adorable ball of energy, ready to be your best friend and adventure pal! She loves to play with her toys, people and other dogs, and is in the process of learning crate training. We think Sylvie would do great in a home with a big dog role model to learn from and play with!Sylvie will still need some help with learning some puppy basics - house training, leash walking, and basic commands. She is such smart cookie and has shown huge improvements in things like "sit" and leash walking already!Remember, adopting a puppy is a big decision and a life long commitment to the dog! The more time and effort you can apply in the beginning will pay off ten-fold when you have a giant slobbery adult dog member of your family. Please do your research on the suggested breed to make sure the dog will be a good fit for your family and lifestyle. Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be this pup's person? Apply today!TIP: We strongly suggest all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting. This pup is not available for public viewing. Please put in an application if you are interested in meeting her. Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason. Primary Color: Yellow Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 10.4 Age: 0yrs 3mths 4wks

Story
Meet Bella!Bella is a timid yet sweet girl searching for her forever home! Once she warms up to you, Bella enjoys gentle scratches and pets, but she's still learning how to be a dog. She'll need a patient, calm family to help her build confidence and experience the world around her. Bella hasn't had much exposure to the outdoors, so she will rely on her people to show her that it's a safe and enjoyable place. She is still working on leash training so her adopters will have to continue this in her new home. In her previous home, Bella has shown separation anxiety and would appreciate a household where someone is around for the majority of the day. She isn't afraid to be vocal and would do best in a home where she can voice her opinions! Due to her shyness, she would do best in a home with older children or dog savvy children. Coming from a home with other dogs, she may thrive in a home with a calm, polite and confident canine who can show her how to be a spoiled pup! 🌞Do you think you could be Bella's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
