Story
****Courtesy Post****   Meet Harry the Husky.  Harry is a medium sized dog who is between 2 to 3 years old.  Harry is ready to find his forever home! Harry is kennel and house trained, and walks great on a leash.    Background:  Harry was rescued as a stray found on an Indian reservation.   Personality : Harry is a charming dog who enjoys playing without being too rough, he adores other dogs and has a gentle nature. Harry does well with dogs of all sizes with the proper introduction.  We do not know how Harry will  react to cats.  Harry seems to do well with respectful children.     Health: Harry is current on vaccinations, has been neutered and is microchipped.   Adoption Fee : Harry’s adoption fee of $250 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application .     *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up   .  January 10, 2025, 4:25 pm

Story
We adopted Gracie from Halo Rescue in August. Gracie was born 5/24/23. Gracie is 62% Asian/Oceanic (47% Siberian Husky) and 18% Herding (8% Shepherd). She is potty and crate trained. Gracie loves to go on walks, go places, and especially loves Starbucks pupuccinos. She's been to a couple training sessions and doggie day care and was respectful and playful with other dogs. Gracie is super smart, loves challenging games, and sunning herself in the backyard. She enjoys squeaky toys, puzzle toys, and snuffle mats. She has not been around children and since Gracie still jumps and nips in greeting, I do not recommend placing with small children. She's beautiful and sassy, and lots of fun! A busy day of sniffing and play and Gracie will go nite nite by 7:30 and sleep the night in her doggie bed in our bedroom until 5-7AM. She'll wake us in the night to go outside to potty. Gracie would do best with an active, loving couple, a yard, and another dog to help school her.

Story
Get ready for the greatest love of your life!!! Please learn more about us and our available pets at Robin Hood Animal Rescue. In Ralph's words:  'I am Husky from the tip of my nose to the tip of my tail!!! Being a Husky can be very challenging at times. Especially, when you are living with a family who don't understand the breed and how crazy members of that breed can be. My previous family when contacted about me being found, told the kind lady, who rescued me off the street, that they didn't want me back. She couldn't keep me, so she called around until Robin Hood Animal Rescue told her yes, they would take me. I have to be honest, I can be a handful. Not necessarily because of my breed, but because of what all I have been through. My foster parents have been working with me. I have been a good boy. I am smart. I will need a family who will be understanding and patient with me until I feel loved and safe.” As with all our foster dogs/puppies, Ralph has been altered, microchipped, and has had his shots. Please text or call Bob at (623) 680-1170 for more information on this beautiful boy. March 7, 2024: THE ADOPTION FEE FOR DOGS/PUPPIES VARIES GIVEN AGE, BREED, ETC.. Story
Kazuki showed up at my job and I took him in since nobody claimed him and had no home. The vet said he is about 2 years old or almost 3 years by April 2025. I am looking for a good home for Kazuki because I won’t be able to meet his needs anymore due to having a baby on the way very soon. He is very playful and energetic. He loves to run around and loves the outdoors. He’s also partially leashed trained, he is very good with children, and being around other animals.

Story
Meet Jubilee, one of our most beloved fosters! Sponsored by the Partners Dog Foundation, Jubilee received professional training from the skilled team at Partners Dog Training in Cave Creek, AZ. Before coming to us, he spent nearly a year in a shelter, often overlooked due to his large size (comparable to a small Saint Bernard) and lack of training. Now a proud graduate of the Partners Dog Training program, Jubilee is ready to find his forever home. He has mastered commands like sit, down, heel, and place, and is both crate and potty-trained. Jubilee would thrive as either an only pet or with a calm canine companion. He’s an active pup who needs regular exercise, making him an excellent adventure buddy who adores car rides. While he’s still getting used to other energetic puppies and prefers they respect his personal space, Jubilee is full of love and ready to be the perfect addition to a caring family. He has a lot of energy, so if you are looking for an active dog, this is your guy! His adoption fee is $400 and includes an additional training class. His new owners will go through a session with his trainers to learn everything that he's been taught in training. He's also neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Story
Hello! My name is Kevin! Yes, I'm a girl named Kevin... I know that's unusual, but I'm just special like that! My friends at Chi Town Rescue are helping me write this so I can find a new home. I thought I had a forever family, but they feel they don't have enough time for me and my fur-sibling, so we are hoping to find a new home before we have to go to the shelter. We don't have to be adopted together, but if you want a duo, check out my little buddy Maverick! Now some more about ME! I am an approximately five-year-old female Husky. I have lots of energy and loooove to run and play, go on walks, and hang out with my people. I love toys, especially tug ropes, squeakies/stuffies, and balls. I am leash trained, crate-trained, potty-trained, and VERY smart! I already know lots of commands, including "sit," "down," "stay," "high-five," and "come". I'm open to learning more, too! I play well with my small fur-sibling, and could potentially do well with your dog at home too; I would love to meet them. I'm a really good girl and deserve a forever home. Do I sound like I might be a match for YOUR family? Please email Chi Town at chitownrescue@gmail.com for more info/appointment to meet me. Hope to see you soon!November 13, 2024, 9:22 pm
