Story
Meet Aries! Aries is a 2yo husky pup with a big heart. He loves to run and walk, bike rides, dog parks, and chew toys. He has excellent recall and can run around off leash and returns when called. He can often be found chilling on the couch or sniffing outside. He prefers to sleep in his kennel and has never had an accident inside. He is very obedient, wanting to make his owner happy. He is great around kids and other dogs, and would love a house full of people or other dogs. He was taken in from an owner who was going to place him in a shelter because of their spouses allergies. The current owner is no longer able to give the proper care he deserves because of their demanding work schedule causing Aries to be home without company for stretches of time. This makes them sad as Aries has a wonderful personality, and will be missed

Story
Nala is a beautiful, 1-year-old Siberian Husky. She is a high-energy dog who loves to play and explore. However, she does have some behavioral challenges that require a special home. Important Considerations: Food Aggression: Nala can be food aggressive, so it’s important that she is fed separately from other animals. Dominant Behavior: She can also exhibit dominant behavior, so she would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can establish clear boundaries. Only Dog Home: Due to her personality, Nala would thrive best in a home as an only pet. The Ideal Home: We are seeking a loving and patient family who can provide Nala with the attention, training, and socialization she needs. She would do best in a home with a secure yard and plenty of opportunities for exercise. If you are interested in giving Nala a loving home, please contact me.

Story
HTH (Hank The Husky) was tied to the front gate of the rescue after we had closed for the day by his owner. So, we don't know why they didn't want to keep him anymore or any of his background information. He has been good with the females that he shares his kennel with ans pretty much ignores the boys in the kennels next to him. We don't know how he is with cats or small children as we don't have any of them here. We did get him fixed, vaccinated and will microchip him before he goes to his new home. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Story
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Lil Hello, I'm Lil, a sweet pup with a tale of resilience and hope. Not long ago, I was wandering the vast desert with my siblings, unsure of what tomorrow might bring. But then, a kind-hearted team from Central Arizona Animal Rescue gave me a chance at a new life. I'm a young girl, just a little over a year old, and life's been quite the adventure so far. I've never really known the warmth of a home or the joy of a leisurely walk on a leash, but I'm eager to learn! With some yummy treats and your gentle encouragement, I'm sure to pick up all the house manners quickly. My brother Phil is my rock; where he leads, I follow. He's taught me it's okay to play and explore this big, exciting world. I've been spayed, vaccinated, and even microchipped, so I'm all set for our journey together. I might be a bit shy at first, especially around new furry friends, and while I haven't met any cats or small children yet, I promise to be gentle with older kids who understand that I need a little time to come out of my shell. Are you the patient, loving family I've been dreaming of? Let's find out together! E-mail mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment to meet me. Come visit me and let's start our forever friendship.   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Story
Aspyn is a Husky-German Sheppard mix and is 2 years old. We bought her from a family when she was 9 weeks old. She has a great temperament, calm and eager for attention. She knows most basic obedience like sit, shake, stay, lay down, spin, and leave it. However, she cannot be off leash yet. She is not yet spayed as we were considering having puppies. We can spay her if needed. We are looking for a better fit home. It would be optimal for her to be in a cooler environment due to her breed. Thanks for considering.

Story
Meet Charlie; A Loving, Well-Behaved Senior Dog Looking for a New Home Charlie is an incredible dog who has been part of my life since I adopted him in 2017, when he was 3 years old. He has been my loyal companion and has always been amazingly well-behaved. Charlie will turn 11 in January 2025, and while he is still full of love, he’s starting to show signs of his age he gets tired on walks more quickly, has some difficulty getting in and out of the car, and takes a little more time getting up. Charlie has never had any medical issues and remains a sweet, gentle soul. However, he would thrive best in a calm home without other pets or young children. I’ve recently faced the heartbreaking decision to rehome him because my toddler’s allergies and eczema flare-ups are being triggered, and I’m also expecting a new baby. Finding a loving and peaceful home where Charlie can live out his golden years happily is my top priority.

Story
Introducing Jack Frost, the spirited Husky mix bursting with energy and affection! At 2.5 years old, Frost is a bundle of joy who thrives on love and attention. He's a social butterfly, getting along with other large dogs. However, Frost would benefit from ongoing training to unleash his full potential and make him the confident and secure pup he deserves! Jack Frost is an outdoor enthusiast who adores car rides and would make an ideal running or hiking companion. Regular walks or runs are his idea of heaven! He's a powerhouse when it comes to playtime, he needs a home with ample space to run and play freely. Highly intelligent and quick to learn, Jack Frost relishes mentally stimulating activities and treats. Since he's a strong boy, he requires supervision around children and prefers a harness for walks. Jack Frost's playful nature sometimes leads to overexcitement and "playful jumps," requiring firm guidance from an alpha human to channel his competitive spirit positively. Although he's great with larger dogs and older children, Frost may need some patience and training around smaller animals. If you're seeking an energetic and loyal companion who's ready for adventure, Jack Frost could be your perfect match! ***Please reach out to Paula at spwheels1@gmail.com if you'd like to meet this special boy Jack Frost!
