Story
Hello! My name is Dopey! I came to the shelter with my mom Snow White and my six other siblings Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Sneezy, and Doc at three days old! Now that we are all old enough, we are ready to leave the nest! I am super sweet and super excited for my forever home! I'm still working on my potty training, but the shelter staff says that I'm doing great! I play wonderfully with my other siblings, but I have never met any cats although I'm sure that it won't take me long to absolutely love one! If you are interested and would like to meet me or my siblings, please call the shelter at 928-636-4223 ext. 7 to make an appointment. But please remember that puppies are a commitment and should not be given as gifts to unsuspecting people. Puppies are a 10–15-year commitment. Dopey has had his first DAPP shot, but he still needs at least 2 boosters before he can be out and about in public. A potential owner should be knowledgeable on the risks of Parvo and the measures taken to prevent it. He has an appointment set for his neuter, rabies vaccination and microchip on 02/21/25.
We'll also keep you updated on Sleepy's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Hi, my name is Snow White. I arrived at the shelter with my seven 3-day-old puppies on 10/24/24. The "seven dwarfs" are now old enough to find their new homes, so I, too, am looking for my new home. The shelter staff have been told that I lived in a home with other dogs and a cat, and that I got along well with all of them until my puppies were born. Understandably, I got protective of my puppies and did attack a cat. The staff at the shelter has yet to test me around other dogs, as I still have some of my puppies here with me and still seem to be protective of them. A meet and greet with any potential future fur-siblings will be required prior to me being adopted out.I am a sweet girl. I will soon be spayed and brought up to date on my core vaccinations, and I am house trained. If you are interested in meeting me, please schedule an appointment by calling the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7.

Story
Meet one of the silliest guys we've met. BooBear is a husky/shepherd mix and was found running loose in the Cornville area. He's pretty shy about being touched and is learning to enjoy a good brushing. Boo gets along great with other dogs. He's looking for a home with a playful dog, a dog that will help him gain confidence with humans. Boo loves to go for walks and has become a volunteer favorite. If you are a patient person and have a fun-loving dog(s) who needs a friend, please give us a call and ask about BooBear.(Boo weighs around 60 lbs).

Handsome Degas is a little shy when he first meets you. He likes attention and hanging out with his humans. Degas enjoys walks in the desert but is a little nervous when walking on streets. He is looking for an experienced husky owner who will help him to build confidence and trust. Degas is a fan of chasing chickens, cats will most likely need to be chased also!
