Story
Hi, my name is Snow White. I arrived at the shelter with my seven 3-day-old puppies on 10/24/24. The "seven dwarfs" are now old enough to find their new homes, so I, too, am looking for my new home. The shelter staff have been told that I lived in a home with other dogs and a cat, and that I got along well with all of them until my puppies were born. Understandably, I got protective of my puppies and did attack a cat. The staff at the shelter has yet to test me around other dogs, as I still have some of my puppies here with me and still seem to be protective of them. A meet and greet with any potential future fur-siblings will be required prior to me being adopted out.I am a sweet girl. I am spayed and I'm UTD on my Bordetella, DAPP, and Rabies vaccinations. I am house trained. If you are interested in meeting me, please schedule an appointment by calling the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7.

Story
Hello! My name is Bucky! I'm approximately 1-2-years-old! I came to the shelter as a stray, and after not being claimed I'm finally ready to find my forever family. I'm a bit nervous when it comes to meeting new people, but with a little bit of love and attention I could be your best friend! I'm looking for a home with a tall fence, to make sure that I stay contained. I could also do really good in a home that is active and can give me plenty of exercise. Shelter staff has not had an opportunity yet to try me with any other dogs, so a meet and greet is required if there are any potential fur siblings. Staff are also unsure how I feel about Cats or small children. I am UTD on my DAPP and Bordetella vaccinations and have an appointment on 01/22/25 for my neuter, rabies vaccination and microchip. So, if I am adopted before then my new family will need to take me to my appointment. If you are interested in meeting me, please call the shelter and set up an appointment at 928-636-4223 ext.7!

Story
Hi! My name is Lady! I'm an approximately 3-4-year-old Husky mix! I came to the shelter as a stray, and after not being claimed I am finally looking for my forever home. I'm a super sweet and energetic girl. So, a home with lots of space to run around would be amazing. I have been spayed, and microchipped and have my DAPP and Bordetella vaccinations. I have an appointment on 01/31/25 for my rabies vaccination, so if I'm adopted before then my new family will need to bring me to my appointment. Shelter staff has not been able to introduce me to any dogs yet, so if my new potential family has any dogs a meet and greet is required. If you would like to meet me and think I could be a perfect fit for your home, please call and set up an appointment at 928-636-4223 ext.7 today!!

Story
Seven is a stunning young Siberian Husky with a heart full of love and adventure! Though the past few months have been a bit challenging for him, he’s ready to find his perfect forever home where he can truly shine.
Seven is friendly, funny, and full of life! His playful nature makes him a joy to be around, and he does well with children. He’s a classic Husky—smart, energetic, and always up for fun. Whether he’s running, playing, or making you laugh with his silly antics, Seven is sure to bring happiness to his new family.
Seven would thrive in an active home that understands the needs of a Husky. A secure yard where he can run and play, daily exercise, and mental stimulation will help him be his best self. If you’re looking for an affectionate and playful companion who will keep you entertained, Seven is the perfect match! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat.
