Story
Poppy is currently one of EHS's longest residents and would love to find her new family soon! To help, her adoption fee has been partially sponsored by generous donors. EHS volunteer comment: "Poppy is a joy to walk. Easy going, and tranquil with an affectionate nature. She may give me the occasional jump on our walks or a kiss on the hand but she's just showing her love and sweetness. She is a quiet girl and is happiest enjoying the great outdoors. She likes human companionship, pets and scratches and her house training is very good."This sweet girl loves the great outdoors and will be your perfect companion for all your adventures. Whether it's a hike in the mountains, a walk around the park, or simply running around the yard, Poppy is all about fun and exploring. Poppy is friendly, loving, and ready to find her forever home. If you're looking for an affectionate companion who will enjoy the outdoors just as much as you do, then Poppy is the one for you. Come meet her today and let her show you just how wonderful life with a Husky can be!https://youtu.be/AcKoUN4UpUo Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 35 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Age: 10 monthsWeight: 25.1 kgA bit about Esther:- unknown history with children; all interactions should be supervised- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised introductions recommended- dogs okay pending successful introductionEsther is a beautiful, gentle girl who loves to give hugs and is looking for a new home where she can be cherished. Not much is known about her past, but in shelter we have learned that she can is a slightly timid girl who takes time to gain confidence. Once you have her trust, she transforms into an incredibly snuggly girl and lap dog who always likes to be touching you. Esther is working on gaining confidence with doorways and stairs, but with a loving family on her side we are sure it won`t be long before she is confidently joining you on all kinds of adventures!!

Good with dogs,
Story
McFly has had a bit of a rough start in life & could really use a champion.   He was adopted as a puppy during Covid so he was rarely alone & he also didn’t meet many people outside of his home.   This has resulted in a lack of socialization skills & suffering from some separation anxiety.   His family later went through some turmoil with major life changes & ultimately made the decision to return him.    The upheaval has left this sweet boy stressed & confused. Strengths:  -Smart, loyal boy who learns quickly-Great with women -Very gentle with children-Sweet & affectionate with people he knows-Does well with most other dogs, but can be selective -Has lived with cats-100% housebroken-Loves car rides Needs improvement: -Suffers from separation anxiety-Is wary of men, strangers & anyone with grey hair until he gets to know them -Protective of his food & needs to be separated from other dogs at feeding times-Can sometimes be jealous of the attention given to another dog instead of him   McFly needs some extra time to adjust to new people & situations.  But if given some space, patience, love & a bucketload of treats, he will befriend anyone.  He has made an impressive amount of progress since he’s been in our care and we have no doubt that with some more time & effort, he will blossom into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be!  The thing that he wants the most and we’ve been struggling to provide is stability.  He requires a safe space with someone he can rely on.  Once his world stabilizes & he can relax, a lot of his issues will hopefully start to resolve. ##2008930##

*Pugsley is in the process of being adopted!*Age: 1.5 yearsWeight: 18.5 kgA little bit about Pugsley: - children unknown - cats / small animals unknown - dogs unknown, potential for other dog in home pending successful dog-to-dog - has shown separation stressSay hello to Pugsley, a pup with a unique face and a lot of love to give! Found as a stray alongside another dog, there isn`t much known about Pugsley or his history. What is known is that he is a friendly, active boy who does great meeting new people! Pugsley also has quite the fondness for food and is known to bury his head into treat pouches and even counter surf for unattended goodies! The ideal home should be able to offer him plenty of supervision and training so that he doesn`t get into too much trouble, and provide him with plenty of mentally enriching toys and activities to keep his big brain busy. He had shown some separation stress when left alone, but the adoptions team can offer methods and ideas to help him build up his tolerance for alone time! Come meet Pugsley and you just may leave with your new best friend!

Story
Meet Heeah! Hey, future family!I'm Heeah, a 5-year-old Husky/Jindo mix with a stunning tan and white coat. I might be 15 kg of fluff, but I've got a heart full of love and a playful spirit that's ready to bring joy into your life! My Story:I came to the shelter with another dog, wearing a bright orange collar that matched my sunny personality. Now, I'm searching for a forever home where I can share my affectionate nature and unique charm with a family who'll appreciate all the love I have to give. Why I'm Special: Affectionate & Friendly: I'm all about the cuddles! Whether you're an old friend or a new face, I'm quick to warm up, rubbing against you and happily accepting all the pets. Once I'm comfortable, I'll even roll over and show you my belly-who can resist that? Playful Pooch: I love meeting new dogs and always approach with a friendly wag and a playful invitation. Just keep an eye out if there are toys or snacks involved-I might get a little protective. But don't worry, I'm learning to share! Outdoor Enthusiast: I enjoy my time outside, whether it's a brisk walk or a playful romp. I've got plenty of experience on the leash and follow along nicely without pulling. After a fun day, I'm happy to relax and enjoy some quiet time with you. Calm & Composed: I'm well-behaved in a kennel and prefer to keep my business outside. I'm also pretty quiet, only growling a bit when I need to protect what's important-like you! Pretty & Unique: With my mix of Husky and Jindo traits, I've got a look that's as unique as my personality. I'm active and playful, with a friendly nature that makes me a great companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. Heeah's Dream Home:I'm looking for a family who loves outdoor adventures as much as I do but also appreciates a calm and affectionate companion at the end of the day. I'd do well in a home where I can be active, meet new friends, and maybe even have a cozy spot to curl up in after a fun day. If you're looking for a playful, loving dog who's ready to fill your life with joy, I'm your girl! Ready to make Heeah a part of your family? I can't wait to meet you and start our journey together! Let's make every day a new adventure filled with love, fun, and lots of belly rubs. With Love,Heeah ##2260914##
