Meet Leo! Leo has been DNA tested and we know that he is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees/Mountain Cur mix. He has a beautiful soft golden coat with golden brown eyes. Leo is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his humans, but he is leery of men until he gets to know them. He does overcome this fear with the help of treats and patience. Next thing you know, he will be your best friend. At the shelter, Leo was known as the play yard rockstar because he gets along so well with other dogs. He knows several commands, such as "sit, "down, "shake, and "leave it". Leo will need a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a playful canine companion in his new home. Leo can't wait to meet you!

Hi, I'm Echo!! I'm a strikingly handsome guy, about 6 years old and truth be told I do have a bit of a silly side with my close friends. I'm even game for a bit of a pool party on a hot summer day! I've been here at the Ark for few years now because you see I do have a few peculiarities that make it a bit challenging to find the perfect home for me. I have boundaries so I tend to guard things and I take a while to get to know and trust new people. Even though I can be a bit of a handful, I'm not mean natured and just love a good head scratch and belly rub from my friends! The perfect home for me would be one that I could have it all to myself and my adult people, no kids or cats please! As much as I do love the Ark and how great they care for me, I really do want to have a home of my own. I just need a family that is experienced with special dogs like me and I promise I'll work hard to prove just how fabulous I am!! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, the most guesses were that I'm a Husky / Catahoula mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!!
