Story
🩵 Meet Sage! 🩵 Sage is the cutest blue-eyed husky mix and quite possibly the resident class clown! This silly girl is full of personality and isn’t shy about sharing it — especially if you’re willing to have a full “conversation” with her. Sage loves to chat and will happily tell you all about her day in the most adorable husky way. She’s a total people-lover and thrives on attention, playtime, and being right in the middle of the fun. At the center, Sage has a blast romping around with her doggy friends, but she’s just as happy entertaining herself with a favorite toy or an enthusiastic tail-chasing session. (Yes — it’s as cute as it sounds.) If your home could use more laughs, more love, and a built-in best friend who keeps life interesting, Sage is your girl. She’s all about the good times and can’t wait to bring the party home with you! 🎉

Story
Hi, I'm Kevin! I'm only 13 months old, so still kind of a big puppy, but I'm the BEST boy! I live in a foster home with four other big dogs and I love them! I want to play all the time, so I'd love to have a playmate in my new home. My breed mix includes Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, and husky. My foster mom takes me on 2-4 mile walks every day and I am very good on the leash. We go to the dog park at least once a week and I love to play with the dogs and chase the squirrels. I believe in early to rise, early to bed! After about 7 pm, I just want my comfy dog bed. I am house-trained, crate-trained, vaccinated, up-to-date on heartworm and flea and tick prevention, and micro-chipped. Want to meet me? Just apply at forrescue.net!

Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a beautiful, one-year-old husky with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly loving and thrives when she’s around her people — whether that’s going for walks, hanging out at home, or just being part of the action. She has a fun, playful personality and keeps you laughing with her expressions and classic husky attitude. Nova is eager to learn, people-oriented, and a joy to work with. She already knows basic commands including sit, shake, and touch, Nova is doing very well with both potty training and kennel training and has adapted quickly to a home environment. She also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion or as the center of attention in her new home. True to her breed, Nova has the classic husky “woo” and loves to talk to her people. Nova will thrive in an active home where she can get regular exercise, as she truly enjoys staying busy. She would make a great hiking, walking, or adventure buddy. Nova is a classic husky — vocal, smart, playful, and full of personality — and will thrive with someone who appreciates the breed’s charm and energy. Nova is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is available for transport, the adopter will be responsible for the fees. Apply at forrescue.net

Story
Things we know I’m a sweet, social pup who is great with people and other dogs! I have a kind heart, loving personality, and will be a wonderful family pet. All I need to truly thrive is love, guidance and basic training. I passed multiple temperament tests to with people and dogs (including on-leash and off-leash playgroups) in order to come to Felines & Canines. I am AWESOME! Things we don’t know We don’t know about any animal’s housebreaking, as they are all in our shelter, not a home environment. However, all of our dogs go outside multiple times a day to go potty and go on walks. We can’t guarantee breeds or ages, but we do our best to put forth an educated guess! Next steps Our adoption fee for dogs over six months is $275, under six months is $350, which includes vaccinations, a microchip, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, anti-parasitic preventatives. If you’re interested in meeting/potentially adopting, please complete an adoption application by clicking on the link below. The application only needs to be completed one time, regardless of the number of animals you’re interested in meeting. Questions?
