Story
Goldie is the sweetest soul in puppy form that keeps us laughing every day. Goldie is intuitive and senses when people need her the most. She is curious about the world and loves to meet new faces of all breeds. Goldie is a fast learner and eager to please her people. For her perfect life, Goldie needs 3 things: a playful family (or fur siblings), someone to hug her back (she asks for hugs daily) and all the babies (stuffed animals) that can be found. Goldie will be the best addition to any family that loves to be active and will have the time to keep working with her on the basic commands she's started to learn. Goldie is coming close to being potty trained but still needs some work on her chewing (but she will take toys and chew bones all day!) She loves long walks but gets nervous with new things. It takes her a minute to trust, but when she does, you've won her over for life. Goldie is crate trained but prefers not to be crated at night. She prefers a dog bed right by you or on the big bed. We really want Goldie to have a fenced yard. Goldie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested-negative. She is approximately a year and a half old and is a pure bred Golden Retriever. Yes, she has a big underbite, but it doesn't stop her from eating and playing with toys. She is being fostered in the Pensacola area. Her adoption fee is $400.

SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama, and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references, and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
