big teddybear* Please note that Boris is in a foster home and is not at the shelter. If you are interested in Boris, please email angela.kinn.ak@gmail.com * Meet Boris! Boris is approximately seven years young and looking for a loving home. Boris lost his home because his guardian was very sick. She was heartbroken to give him up because he is such a loving kitty who was great company to her. Boris is a big teddybear of a cat. He is a great cuddler and enjoys stretching out next to you in bed. He is a very gentle kitty and appreciates a quiet home where he can relax. Boris gets along well with other cats, but has not lived with dogs or kids. Boris loves being combed and brushed and he needs this done periodically so his gorgeous fur stays beautiful. Boris is a very loveable boy who will come running when you call him and is eager for love and attention.  Boris has a sensitive nature and would do best in a quiet, low-stress home where he can relax and show off his wonderful, loving purrsonality. Boris is shy in new situations and with new people, so it is important that his adopter have the patience and loving heart to gently ease his transition.  All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Are you: Looking for the Laurel and Hardy of Cats? Needing some quirky rescue cats to brighten up your life? Then search no further! This odd-couple pair of sweeties are waiting to entertain and take up a spot on your couch. Harrison Ford’s Cat is a big teddy bear who plays like a kitten, and will always make you laugh when you see him running away. He has a resting grump face that melts away with cheek skritches and his favorite brush. Viktor Thumbs is a gentle orangie who takes some patience and churu treats to warm up. He loves lounging in the window sill and cuddling with his BFF Harry. If you have a quiet home with lots of toys for this bonded pair, they will provide endless entertainment with their antics! These boys are different ages and litters, but were trapped from the same 40 cat colony. After months of socializing and getting them healthy, they are searching for the perfect indoor only home! Neutered, microchiped, up to date on vaccines, and treated for parasites. They do need hypoallergenic food to keep their itches at bay (Harrison has an allergy) No dogs, loud noises or very young children, but ok with older/mellower kids. These characters are destined to be internet famous, clear your memory card for photos!

Story
It is with a heavy heart, that we have to re-home Wally. He is a very quiet, loving, timid cat. Unfortunately, since he is quiet and timid, he does like our young daughter, who makes loud noise and fast movements. He is unhappy since we had her, then we moved into a smaller house with less places to “hide”so his unhappiness only seems to worsen. He is fine with other cats, as we have another cat as well. He has never really been around dogs, but I don’t imagine he would enjoy it as he gets scared easily by noise.
