Story
Mochi is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves being around her people. She gets along well with other dogs but is still learning to share her toys. While she’s curious about the resident cat, she mostly leaves him alone since he doesn’t share her enthusiasm. She’s still working on her manners and learning not to jump up on people, so she’d do best in a home with older children to avoid accidentally knocking over little ones. Mochi is kennel trained, and we’re making great progress with potty training. Though she has bursts of playful puppy energy, she’s just as happy to curl up on the couch while her foster family enjoys White Lotus or Gravity Falls. Overall, she’s a loving and sweet girl eager to find her forever family!
Mochi is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $900 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Mochi is tested with other dogs, children, cats, and is kennel trained. She is working on potty training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
