Age: Approximately 2 years old Weight: 12 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes (Older Considerate Kids Only) Potty trained: Working on it! Crate trained: Yes *****Secure Fenced Yard and Friendly Small companion dog Required***** Hey there! I’m Annika and I’m around 3 years old. I’m from a puppy mill, so living outside of a cage is all new to me. It’s a pretty steep learning curve, but my foster mom says I learn something new every single day! And even though all of the novel things in my new environment can make me anxious, my desire to learn and to experience fun definetely shines through. I love being outside and I really love playing with other dogs. Going on walks is really exciting, and I have made huge progress adjusting to walking on a leash. Both a secure fenced yard and at least one other playful small dog in the home will be essential to my success as I continue to learn how to be a dog! I’m working on potty training and doing well. My foster mom says I have a super sweet temperament, and there’s no doubt that as I continue to feel more safe, I will be a very affectionate and loyal companion. If you have the patience to spend time and encourage me while I figure out this big new world, I’ll give you lots of love in return! Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
