Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Meet Maddie! Maddie is a sweet 3 year old, 10 pound Havapoo who was rescued from a Amish puppy mill. After years of living in a kennel and giving birth to multiple litters, she's ready to experience a new life filled with love. Maddie is a gentle, shy (at first) girl who is still building her confidence and learning to trust humans. She is very scared of men and would be best off in a female only home. Maddie has adjusted beautifully in her foster home. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to run around outside or go for walks through the neighborhood. She adores stuffed toys and bones and will happily occupy her time chewing on them. She loves snuggles and to receive pets; she will even show you her belly so she can get all of the belly rubs. Maddie is currently crate-trained at night only and sleeps next to her foster moms bed. She knows to go potty outside and does well when kept to a routine and receiving lots of praise and treats for doing her business. Maddie has been an exceptional foster but still needs an experienced female adopter who can offer her a calm, loving environment, ideally with a fenced yard. She's a smart and active girl, picking up on routines quickly and always ready for a new adventure. Maddie's journey is one of resilience, and she's now ready to spend her days in peace and comfort, offering unconditional love to the person lucky enough to welcome her into their life. Maddie is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Peaches is a 3-year-old, 9 pound Havanese. She is very sweet and very shy. She gets along other dogs but is very unsure about leash walking or loud noises. In terms of house training, Peaches uses pee pads because she is nervous going outside, but we are optimistic that with time and patience, she will figure it out! She will need lots of love and cuddles to get her over her meekness, which won't be hard because she is an absolute sweetheart. If you're looking for a quiet companion who will need you to move slowly and with lots of compassion, then Peaches is for you. She is the sweetest little lady and she needs a happy home to show her that a wonderful life is possible. Peaches is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00.
