Scout is not currently up for adoption at our shelter - instead we are helping his owner, Sasha, by listing him as a Courtesy Listing in hopes we can help her find someone that will welcome Scout into their home!   Sasha's contact info is down below for anyone potentially interested.... "Meet Scout!  Scout is a sweet, three-year-old Havanese/Pomeranian mix who is looking for his forever home due to his family relocating. He has been deeply loved his entire life and it truly shows in his loyal and affectionate personality. Scout is fully up to date on vaccinations, chipped, and is neutered. He does well with cats and would thrive in a calm home environment. While Scout is fearful of other dogs, he does best as the center of attention or with slow, thoughtful introductions if needed. He requires regular groomings and endless snuggles.   Scout does well with children who are old enough to understand gentle and respectful interactions, as he doesn’t enjoy rough handling such as poking or pulling. He struggles with anxiety and will need a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to continue working with him on potty training and kennel training (if desired). In return, Scout offers endless love, devotion, and companionship.
