Meet Scarecrow! This sweet little gal is about six years old and only about 20 pounds. Her foster chose the name Scarecrow not only because it's fall, but this dog's hair sticks out in fun directions just like straw. Scarecrow is a former puppy mill momma, and she is still recovering from this harsh lifestyle, but she has the biggest smile and the best tail wags. In fact, if you put her fall jacket on her, she'll prance around the yard with pride. The yard is Scarecrow's happy place; she loves to observe the world around her and just be at peace in nature. She especially loves napping in the grass and sunshine, so her adopter must have a fenced yard. She is independent, and she prefers to make the first move when connecting with new people. She will blossom in a relaxed environment without children under eight. Scarecrow gets along great with her foster siblings including a cat, other dogs, and a bird.
