Jazzy is a 4 month old female havanese who weighs 6.5 pounds. These puppies were rescued from horrific conditions and they have never looked back. They have since been seen by our vet, fully shaved and they are as cute as buttons. They have tested well with other dogs, love to play and will just need a little time to warm up. She is energetic, bouncy, and has never had a bad day in her life. Rachel loves to run full speed outside and tumble over her canine friends. She’d do best in a home with older kids as she will nip a little when she is super excited. She is very eager to please though and has already started learning her manners. Somebody get me out of this old age home! That’s what Boomer is saying about his stay here at Four-Legged Forgotten Oldies. Boomer is a very healthy, playful, and active 10-year-old Havanese/Terrier mix. While the other dogs who live here are happy to nap the day away, Boomer loves to run and go for long walks. He really needs to find a great new home who can give him the time and exercise he would like. Boomer came to us after he was surrendered by his owner to the shelter. His owner said he didn’t like children, so adults-only homes please. During Boomer’s behavior test at the shelter, he showed signs of resource guarding for food and toys. We have seen some evidence of that when he is around the other dogs. We are hoping to find the ideal home for Boomer. We learned that his previous owner was physically and verbally abusive to him. As a result, Boomer can be fearful at times. If he thinks he’s going to be scolded, he retreats to the sofa or a corner. He needs a new home that will be patient and loving with him, as well as knowledgeable on how to deal with his behaviors. Boomer is smart. He knows how to sit, stay, and come, and also gives kisses on command. He really wants to be a loving, trusting dog. He has come a long way since he arrived here last month. Are you the new person he is looking for to give him his happy, forever after? FLFO requires a home visit therefore adopters must be within 40 miles of Baldwin MD.

Wally’s a 6yo 14lb Havanese mix. He’s dog and kid 13+ friendly. He’s housetrained. He’s good with a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks which he loves so he can say hello to all the people/dogs he meets. He loves other dogs especially ones who play with him. He’s not a big fan of being held since he has some pain from his hip surgery, but will come next to his person on occasion for some belly rubs. He is pretty calm and relaxed but if something doesn’t make him comfortable he will growl to let you know. Wally’s foster requires he have another playful dog, be allowed to sleep in bed with his people and be taken on walks a few times a day for exercise and socialization. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Wally came to Tiny Paws after being hit by a car where we made sure he had surgery on his hip. He is on meds to keep him comfortable which he will need for his lifetime twice a day. He’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Bensalem, PA. Wicket is a designer dog. He is an Ewokian. He is a cross between a havanese and pomeranian. He is about 4 years old. Very tiny dog under 8 lbs. He is a good house dog. Likes small walks and will go bathroom outside, but has accidents indoors on the floor at times. We are rehoming because he is dominant toward our golden doodle who is special needs and bigger and Wicket is good either being the only dog or a dog with other small dogs. He doesn't do well with big dogs. He does great with cats, small dogs, and birds. Super friendly with kids and people. Will bark at anyone that comes near the home but to alert you. He is otherwise a social butterfly and likes to sleep and look out the window. He eats when he wants to eat which is twice a day and dry grain free dog food. He likes to be on your lap or lay next to you and has a small dance and wiggle when he is happy. Updated on shots and neutered
